Avoidant restrictive food intake disorder is a type of eating disorder in which people eat only within an extremely narrow range of foods. This disorder has so far been little studied, but it is increasingly common in younger and preschool children, which requires a cautious attitude towards this disease among both pediatricians and doctors of other specialties. On the basis of the VODKB № 2 and the MC "Zdorovy rebenok" in Voronezh in the period from October to December 2023, we conducted a study to find out how many children suffer from ARFID, to identify significant risk factors for the formation of this disease and the relationship between an eating disorder and other diseases of various etiologies.&lt;/p&gt;
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>avoidant restrictive food intake disorder</kwd><kwd>ARFID</kwd><kwd>nutrition</kwd><kwd>children</kwd><kwd>selective appetite</kwd><kwd>eating behavior</kwd><kwd>feeding</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>избегающее ограничительное расстройство приема пищи</kwd><kwd>ARFID</kwd><kwd>ИОРПП</kwd><kwd>питание</kwd><kwd>дети</kwd><kwd>избирательный аппетит</kwd><kwd>пищевое поведение</kwd><kwd>кормление</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder: a Three-Dimensional Model of Neurobiology with Implications for Etiology and Treatment / J.
