Introduction. Currently, the study of the spread of bad habits among young people occupies one of the leading positions in the prevention of diseases. Dependence on mobile devices occupies one of the leading positions among people of all age groups. Adults and children spend hours in front of the screen of their smartphones, playing games and diving into social networks, which can negatively affect not only their learning process and sociality of activity, but also their health. Young people are more susceptible to this addiction than others, as they use their phones for study, communication and entertainment. Goal. To find out the key factors influencing the emergence of dependence on mobile devices, to develop and propose solutions to this problem. Materials and methods. To compile and analyze an anonymous questionnaire for a sociological study of addiction among medical university students. In addition, qualitative methods of information collection were used in the course of the study. Group discussions were held with students to identify their opinions and views on mobile phone addiction. Results. 49 people took part in the survey, the female gender prevailed. 28.6% of students are annoyed when they cannot use a mobile phone, and 49% are nervous when the phone battery is almost empty. Most people feel anxious when they forget their phone at home. Some respondents had problems with health, physical activity and learning process due to excessive use of mobile devices. According to the results of the survey, 75.5% of the respondents are stressed. 36.7% of students believe that it is necessary to reduce their phone usage time. According to the respondents, myopia and headaches were considered the main adverse consequences of excessive use of mobile phones. Students believe that in order to get rid of phone addiction, it is necessary, first of all, to assess their attitude to the phone and make it a rule to remove the phone from the bedroom in the evenings. Conclusions. The study of the formation of dependence on mobile phones is an urgent and important topic, especially among students. In the medical sense, addiction is defined as "a systemic change in the mental processes and behaviors of a person, characterized by a strong desire or persistent craving for a particular substance, object, or activity (an "addictive agent"), which may cause pleasure, euphoria, relief from stress, or a pleasant altered state of consciousness. Only through an integrated approach can effective strategies be developed to manage this problem and create healthy digital habits among students.</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>nomophobia</kwd><kwd>students</kwd><kwd>prevention</kwd><kwd>addiction</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>номофобия</kwd><kwd>студенты</kwd><kwd>профилактика</kwd><kwd>зависимость</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front>
<p>Relevance. In modern society, mobile phones have become an integral part of our lives. They help us stay connected, get information, have fun, and complete various tasks. However, with the growing popularity of mobile devices, a new phenomenon has emerged nomophobia, or dependence on a mobile phone.Students are particularly susceptible to this phenomenon. Young people actively use gadgets to communicate with their peers, search for information, watch videos and play games. Mental polarity and sudden mood swings are characteristic of the student age, and since communication plays an important role at this age, it becomes easier for students to communicate via a mobile phone, frequent use of which can lead to loss of control over time and emotions, which affects academic performance and social adaptation of students. The purpose of the work. Based on the responses of students taken into account using the questionnaire "Telephone addiction", to identify the main factors contributing to the formation of dependence on mobile phones among students, as well as to offer recommendations on preventing or reducing the negative impact of dependence on gadgets on academic performance and psychological well-being of students.Materials and methods of research. Specialists of the VOKCOZ and MP Educational Institution conducted a survey using an anonymous questionnaire "Telephone dependence" of students of the N.N. Burdenko VSMU. The sociological study involved 49 people aged 21 to 25 years. The results of the study. 1. Of the students who took part in the survey, men 10 people (20.4%), women 39 people (79.6%). The age of the respondents: 21 years 10 people (20.4%), 22 years 34 people (69.4%); 23-25 years 5 people. (10.2%).28.6% of students are annoyed when they do not see their mobile phone. Practically half of the respondents (49%) are nervous when the battery of their mobile device is almost empty.81.6% of students feel anxious when they forget their phone at home.Dependence on mobile devices can lead to both physical health and mental well-being problems. 20.4% of the students felt this for themselves.According to the results of the survey, 75.5% of the respondents are subject to stress. The interviewed students showed themselves to be quite economical and practical: first of all, they look at the price of the gadget, and only 10.2% of students want their phone to have the most fashionable design.44.9% of respondents believe that they often check their mobile phone. This indicator may indicate that many young people have signs of addiction and nomophobia.Students in the number of 10.2% believe that using the phone prevents them from doing physical education and sports, which in turn leads to consequences such as physical inactivity, overweight, scoliosis, metabolic disorders and others. But at the same time, 61.2% of students lead an active lifestyle.30.6% of respondents find it difficult to stop using their phone before going to bed, even if it affects their ability to fall asleep. This fact indicates that some of the respondents already have problems sleeping, the cause of which is dependence on a mobile phone.According to the survey results, 36.7% of students believe that it is necessary to reduce their phone usage time, but have difficulty doing so.The main consequences of mobilomania, according to students, are:- myopia, headaches (83.7%);- insomnia (75.5%);- impaired posture (73.5%).Most of the respondents are aware of the danger of this problem and would suggest to solve it first of all:- 67.3% - evaluate their attitude to the phone;- 67.3% - make it a rule to remove the phone from the bedroom in the evenings.Conclusion. Yang defined Internet addiction as any Internet-related compulsive behavior that interferes with daily life and social interaction. This behavior also affects various aspects of public health. The connection between excessive Internet use and loneliness, antisocial values, low emotional intelligence and depression is shown. As the first steps to get rid of mobilomania and nomophobia, we can recommend the following: to realize the magnitude and possible negative outcomes of this addiction, set a clear time frame for using the phone as a means of entertainment, find interesting activities for yourself to spend your free time, contact a specialist in case of unsuccessful attempts to get rid of addiction on your own.Studying this problem is of great importance for understanding the impact of mobile phones on the psychological well-being of students. The development of programs aimed at combating nomophobia and encouraging healthy habits of using mobile devices can be an important step towards improving the effectiveness of education and improving the general condition of students. In addition, further research is needed to identify the factors contributing to the formation of dependence on mobile phones among students. This will help to develop individualized approaches to managing this addiction, as well as offer recommendations for creating a healthy digital environment in educational institutions.</p>
<back><ref-list><ref id="B1">1.<mixed-citation>Зволинская, Е.
