In our time (in the age of computer technology, in the age of the atom) we need to protect flora and fauna. With my project, I encourage people to take care of the natural resources of their homeland, including the Voronezh region. Purpose. to analyze students knowledge about the ecological environment of the Voronezh Nature Reserve and the heritage of V.M. Peskova. Materials and methods. During the study, a survey was carried out, an analysis of the information obtained from literary sources was carried out, and then statistical processing of the results was performed. Results. The survey revealed the students' interest in preserving and enhancing the riches of the cultural and ecological development of the Voronezh land. Conclusion. Currently, there is a real danger of the threat of extinction of many species of plants and animals due to the unfavorable ecological situation on Earth, therefore, protective zones, sanctuaries, nature reserves, and parks are being created to protect and preserve the environment. The survey showed a good awareness of current contemporaries on the issues of environmental development of the Voronezh region and knowledge of the heritage of V.M. Peskov. A sufficient level of knowledge of environmental development problems will prevent global changes in the environmental situation.</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>ecology</kwd><kwd>Voronezh State Natural Biosphere Reserve named after V.M. The preservation and preservation of the ecological heritage in its original form reveals the 100-year history of the reserve and in one way or another actually or documents confirms the significance of the activities of the Voronezh State Natural Biosphere Reserve named after V.M. Peskov to form a correct and careful attitude towards the natural resources of the Voronezh region and as a favorite vacation spot for Voronezh residents and city guests. Therefore, it is important to preserve the ecosystem untouched by modern technologies.<br />The purpose of the work is to study the 100-year history of the formation of the protected area of the Voronezh region, based on the works of V.M. Peskova.<br />Materials and methods of research. The work used methods of voluntary questioning and statistical processing of results. The survey included 10 questions answered by men and women aged 17 to 28 years. A total of 75 people were interviewed. The purpose of the survey is to identify the interest and knowledge of modern youth about the history of the formation and development of the Voronezh Biosphere Reserve based on the works of V.M. Peskova. The study was completed during 2023.<br />Research results. The role of biologists, ecologists, and meteorologists is very important for the conservation of the reserve system (flora and fauna). The protection of natural areas plays an important role in preserving biological diversity and maintaining the natural state of protected natural complexes and objects. To achieve these goals, it is necessary to organize and conduct scientific research, including maintaining the Chronicle of Nature. Scientific research allows us to gain a deep understanding of the natural processes that occur in protected areas. They help us study species diversity, the interaction of living organisms and ecosystems, and also assess the state of natural complexes. The results and data obtained are used to develop effective measures for the protection and management of natural resources. One of the important aspects of nature conservation is environmental monitoring. This process involves monitoring and assessing the state of the environment in protected areas. Monitoring allows us to track changes in biodiversity, the health of ecosystems and the impact of human activities. The works of Vasily Mikhailovich Peskov are invaluable in supporting and popularizing nature reserves and national parks in Russia. He called them spare pockets of life. After traveling around the world and visiting all continents, Vasily Mikhailovich realized the uniqueness of the Russian system of protected natural areas (SPNA). [1,2] He not only understood, but also made every effort to preserve this priceless heritage. His passion for nature and the people who protect it was so great that he not only wrote about protected nature, but also became a voice for the protection of these places when necessary. He devoted more than 60 years of his life to this noble cause. His first essay about the nature of the Voronezh Nature Reserve was published on April 19, 1953 in the Voronezh regional youth newspaper "Young Communard". This was just the beginning of his long and productive journey in protecting protected natural areas. [3] He not only wrote about nature and its beauty, but also talked about the people who work in these territories. He emphasized their importance and the efforts they make to preserve unique ecosystems. His works became popular not only among ecologists and biologists, but also among a wide audience. Thanks to his efforts and dedication to nature conservation, many protected areas have received the status of international importance. His works have been translated into different languages and used as teaching materials for the study of nature and ecology. His contributions to nature conservation not only helped preserve unique ecosystems, but also inspired many people to join this noble cause. His legacy continues today and we can be proud that such a man existed and dedicated his life to conservation. A large book of Memory SPARE POCKET OF LIFE has been published: VASILY PESKOV ABOUT RESERVED RUSSIA for the 100th anniversary of the Russian nature reserve system, in which essays on the following specially protected natural areas of Russia are published: Khopyorsky, Oksky, Prioksko-Terrasny, Central Black Earth, Darwin, Caucasian, Khakass (Lykov's zaimka), Kologrivsky forest, Smolensk Poozerie, Pechero-Ilychsky, Galichya Mountain. [4,5]<br />As part of this research work, the awareness of students of the medical, pediatric faculties and the Institute of Nursing Education (ISE) of VSMU named after. N.N. Burdenko regarding the identification of the role of modern youth in the ecosystem, interest, knowledge about ecological and environmental development on Voronezh land and the contribution of Vasily Peskov to the study of the reserve system. Survey participants were asked to complete a voluntary, anonymous survey. The study involved 75 students, of which 25 (30%) were male and 50 (70%) were female, aged 17 to 28 years. Average</p>
