A healthy lifestyle is incompatible with such a bad habit as alcohol <br />consumption, because this prevents its approval. Alcohol consumption is one of the most important risk factors for many diseases that negatively affect human health and performance. The goal of this study is to study and analyze the attitude of respondents to a bad habit alcohol, among students of Voronezh State Medical University named after Nikolai Nilovich Burdenko.Materials and methods. We conducted a sociological study on the attitude of students of Voronezh State <br />Medical University named after Nikolai Nilovich Burdenko to such a bad habit as alcohol.Results. Of the 100% of the surveyed students, 68.9% drink alcoholic beverages, of which: 17 people (23%) are boys, and 34 people (46%) are girls. Respondents prefer alcoholic beverages such as wine, vermouth, champagne (51%); they also consume light low-alcohol cocktails (45.1%); beer (41.2%); <br />they will not give up strong alcoholic beverages (33.3%). 79.7% of respondents know about the dangers of alcohol. However, 20.3% believe that the harm of alcohol to the body depends on the amount of alcohol consumed.Conclusions. In this regard, the state forms preventive measures aimed at preventing the development of chronic non-communicable diseases, one of the risk factors of which is alcohol. According to WHO, by the beginning of 2010, alcohol consumption in the Russian Federation exceeds the values of the European region, 35.2% are over 15 years old. By 2020, consumption has decreased, but the country is still among the top five drinking countries. Assessing alcohol-related mortality, Russia holds high positions [1].The use of alcohol-containing substances, most often begins with adolescence and continues as a student. The intake of alcoholic beverages among students is a serious public health problem. Excessive alcohol consumption has a detrimental effect on the younger generation, a number of problems arise in the form of negative social, psychological, environmental and health consequences, as well as cognitive functions decrease, deviations occur in the acquisition of experience and the development of academic abilities among students. For all people, alcohol consumption and the resulting negative consequences are not the same. Its effect is due to individual variability, type of alcoholic beverage, quantity, gender difference and nature of consumption in the form of rare, daily or binge drinking [2].The female sex is more sensitive to the effects of alcohol, compared with the male sex with the same amount of alcohol consumed. With the same amount of alcohol consumed, women are more sensitive to the toxic effects of the drink. There is a biological basis for different metabolic rates in men and women. Women have less water in their body and a large proportion of fat that does not absorb alcohol. There is also a lower level of gastric alcohol dehydrogenase an enzyme that breaks down ethanol into its metabolites. When conducting tests for cognitive impairment while driving, people who consume moderate doses of alcohol and do not report disorders showed a decrease in memory and motor skills, distracted attention, while women showed a greater decrease in productivity [3].Alcohol abuse increases the risk of cardiovascular diseases, oncopathology, myocardial infarction, strokes, as well as the occurrence of alcoholic subtypes of liver disease and suicidal thoughts. There is a decrease in immunity and there is a possibility of developing tuberculosis, in this case there is evidence of reduced effectiveness of treatment and drug resistance of tuberculosis infection [4].The purpose of the work is to study and analyze the attitude of students of VSMU named after N.N. Burdenko to a bad habit alcohol.Materials and methods of research. The study and analysis of the respondents' attitude to alcohol was carried out by specialists of the VOKTSOZ and MP BOOZ on the basis of the Burdenko VSMU Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution on the basis of a sociological survey for 12/26/2023. The empirical basis of the study was students aged 20 to 23 years. 74 people took part in the survey, of which: 21 (28.4%) men and 53 (71.6%) women. The results of the study.Based on statistical data, students consume alcohol in small quantities, but it is impossible to deny the negative health effects anyway. Alcohol can affect memory, concentration, problem solving, and it can also affect physical health, including organs. 68.9% of the surveyed students drink alcohol, of which 17 (23%) are boys and 34 (46%) are girls (Fig. 1).Respondents prefer such drinks as wine, vermouth, champagne (51%); they also consume light low-alcohol cocktails (45.1%); beer (41.2%); they will not give up strong alcoholic beverages (33.3%) (Fig. 2).Among students, more than half (58.8%) tried their first alcohol at the age of 17-20, others at the age of 16, that is, at an even earlier age (37.3%) (Fig. 3).The diagram shows that many students consume alcoholic beverages on special days, namely on holidays (94.1%). They drink to cheer themselves up and, in certain cases, support the company. The frequency of alcohol consumption by respondents is shown in the diagram (Fig. 4). The majority of students who drink alcohol do this: on holidays (52.9%); 1-2 times a month (31.4%).Alcohol poisoning can be a serious problem among young people, mainly at parties or other events where large amounts of alcohol are consumed, especially in cases where people drink too much in a short period of time. In some cases, this can lead to death due to the fact that they simply do not have time to provide assistance on time. Therefore, it is important to be aware of the consequences of drinking alcoholic beverages and to know how to provide first aid in case of poisoning. According to the results of the survey, 11.8% of students have information about first aid for alcohol poisoning.Indeed, there is a contradiction between the generally accepted idea of alcohol consumption as a socially acceptable practice and the desire for a healthy lifestyle, including abstinence from alcohol. An individual's personal volitional decision to stop drinking alcohol can indeed be an effective way to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Ultimately, the choice to drink or not to drink alcohol should depend on individual preferences, beliefs and health status. 7.8% of students believe in the stereotype that alcohol consumption is the norm of life. The data indicate that the majority of respondents are aware of the harmfulness of alcohol to health 79.7%. However, 20.3% believe that the harm of alcohol to the body depends on the amount of alcohol consumed (Fig. 5).Many allow themselves to take a shower, and then walk in parks, ride rides, participate in various contests, or combine a vacation on the beach with alcoholic libations. And not everyone "under the degree" knows how to behave appropriately, and this can lead to problems with the law. The effect of alcohol on the human body is a very unpredictable and individual process. It is difficult to predict with absolute certainty how the human brain and other organs will react to a particular alcohol in each specific case. Sometimes even small portions of ethanol can cause severe irritation of receptors in the brain, which makes a person lose the ability to adequately control their behavior and reflexes. The result is the most inappropriate behavior in public places, for which punishment is provided. 73% of students have a negative attitude towards people who are drunk in public places (Fig. 6).Until a pathological addiction is formed, occasionally drinking citizens may not drink alcohol for a long time, do not look for a reason for an alcoholic feast, refuse a glass, even being in the company of drinking companions. But as soon as addiction develops, all these self-control skills are lost. According to the survey, only 1.4% do not consider alcoholism a disease.Conclusion.Alcohol is a risk factor for the occurrence of CND in students of the VSMU. Burdenko of the city of Voronezh. We recommend that you monitor your health and adhere to a healthy lifestyle (HLS) because it matters, especially for students. Abstaining from alcohol can be a useful solution for young people for several reasons. Firstly, alcohol can negatively affect learning activities and the ability to concentrate. Secondly, it can also affect the physical and mental health of students. In addition, abstaining from alcoholic beverages helps to maintain a healthy lifestyle and form responsible habits that can have a positive impact on the future. The correct formation of internal values and the strengthening of moral principles of a person can largely be a barrier to the emergence of a desire to drink alcohol. Focusing on work or study activities can also distract from the desire to drink. Such factors help to create an informed attitude towards a healthy lifestyle and strengthen the internal foundation of decision-making, including rational choices regarding alcohol consumption. Therefore, a reasonable and responsible attitude towards alcohol consumption or its complete rejection can help students maintain their health and successfully fulfill their academic duties.</p>
<back><ref-list><ref id="B1">1.<mixed-citation>Алкоголь-ассоциированные проблемы и антиалкогольная профилактика в медицине труда (аналитический обзор) / И.
