Acne tends to become chronic, contributing to the spread of foci of infection on the skin of the face and beyond. However, in addition to physical discomfort, this pathology entails social and psychological problems for patients. A change in the appearance of facial skin contributes to a decrease in self-esteem and quality of life of a person, complicates his social interaction. Acne is a multifactorial, polyetiological disease, and therefore the prognosis of the occurrence and development of this nosology is very difficult. Cicatricial processes and post-acne also contribute to a change in the condition of a person's skin and his sense of self. Studying the level of quality of life of patients with acne is an important step towards stabilizing their psychological state. During the study, the dermatological index of the quality of life of patients with acne was determined, and the severity of the course of the disease was also assessed.
