For the analysis, data from the state reports "On the sanitary and epidemiological situation in the Tver region" of the Rospotrebnadzor for the Tver Region for 2019-2021 were used. The information obtained from these reports shows that the average annual concentration of fluoride in the centralized water supply systems of the Tver region as a whole does not exceed the maximum permissible concentration (MPC). But in some territories of the Tver region and Tver is found to exceed the permissible norms of fluorine content in DW. This is due to the predominant provision of DW to the population at the expense of underground water sources. The increased content of fluorine in these sources is due to the long contact of the underground stream with phosphorite deposits [1], as well as the lack of properly arranged sanitary protection zones for some water sources and violation of the order of operation of water pipes. Standardized methods of de-fluoridation (defluorination) of DW for mass consumption are also not used in the Tver Region.
