Tartakovsky, his contribution as the organizer and head of the anti-plague laboratory. The following research methods were used: biographical method, systematization, generalization and analysis. His scientific works devoted to the study of cattle plague, avian plague and typhus, chicken spirochetosis, glanders, epizootic lymphangitis, and bacteriological techniques are being studied. The facts of Tartakovsky's participation as a supervisor at the Imperial Institute of Experimental Medicine are given.
