Achievements in research aimed at finding the etiological factor of malignant neoplasms make it possible to develop new preventive measures, create targeted therapy and reduce the mortality rate from this pathology. In Russia, one of the most common pathologies in women is cervical cancer. Pathology is associated with the carriage of the human papillomavirus, which creates the preconditions for early detection of infection and the organization of preventive measures to prevent its spread.

Purpose of the study: using a general morphological analysis, tachymetric and crystalloscopic research methods, to identify differences in the manifestation of the phenomenon of arborization during persistence in the body of the human papillomavirus.

Materials and methods: 100 native dried samples of cervical mucus were used for the study, 75 of which were taken from women with confirmed carriage of the human papillomavirus. Survey microscopy using a research microscope ZEISS Axio Imager.A2, processing of statistical data in the software packages STATISTICA (StatSoft Russia 4.0) and Microsoft Office Excel 2010.

Results. A change in the structure of the epithelium, especially in the area of the external cervical os, leads to a violation of its function. The cervical mucus secreted by these cells is a glycoprotein that changes its physicochemical properties depending on the concentration of estrogens. The discovery of new manifestations of the phenomenon of arborization in native dried samples of female carriers of the human papillomavirus will allow the development of a new accessible diagnostic technique.
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>phenomenon of arborization</kwd><kwd>human papillomavirus</kwd><kwd>cervical cancer</kwd><kwd>cervical mucus</kwd><kwd>prevention</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>феномен арборизации</kwd><kwd>вирус папилломы человека</kwd><kwd>рак шейки матки</kwd><kwd>цервикальная слизь</kwd><kwd>профилактика</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front>

<back><ref-list><ref id="B1">1.<mixed-citation>Sravani AB, Ghate V, Lewis S.
