They arise as a result of an acute chemical reaction in the body when exposed to a toxic substance in a certain amount. This leads to an upset of the work of important organs and can pose a threat to life. PURPOSE. This scientific work is aimed at disseminating information about the problem of household poisoning and its discussion not only at the local level, but also among the general public. It also aims to inform people about methods of preventing poisoning in everyday life. MATERIALS AND METHODS. In this study, an analysis of a newsletter from the Office of Rospotrebnadzor in the Voronezh Region was carried out, which provided information on the analysis of the dynamics of household poisoning, including fatal alcohol poisoning, based on social and hygienic monitoring. Statistics from the Office of Rospotrebnadzor in the Voronezh Region on cases of household poisoning for the period from 2019 to 2021 were also processed. Conditions of holding. This work was carried out at the Department of Disaster Medicine and Life Safety of the N.N. Burdenko Voronezh State Medical University. The main result of the study is the conclusions based on the analysis of data on the dynamics of household poisoning, including fatal alcohol poisoning, from 2019 to 2021. CONCLUSION.
