The state of health of students during their studies decreases. And as you know, during the session it takes a lot of effort to safely close the exams, therefore, many students are in a state of pre-illness. This article presents the results of studies conducted to assess the nutrition of students, as a fundamental factor of health, in different periods of study (before and during the session). The aim of the study was to evaluate the nutrition of students taking into account the intensity of training at a medical university before and during the session. As research materials, a questionnaire method and an individual nutrition diary filled in by students throughout the day were used. The analysis of the results obtained was carried out, recommendations were made in order to adjust nutrition to improve health. As a result of the conducted research, it was revealed that the majority of students do not observe the rules of rational nutrition during the academic semester, and this situation worsens during the exams. The nutrition of students has a number of disadvantages, which include non-compliance with the daily diet, the ratio of proteins, fats, carbohydrates.
