To analyze the available foreign and domestic studies on the problem of cervical cancer, calculate the economic losses from this pathology in the Voronezh region, determine approaches to overcome the problem and propose a reasonable solution.</p> <p>Materials and methods. Foreign research published in the electronic library PUBMED, native studies published in the electronic library eLIBRARY.RU, including materials from the international scientific forum "Russian experts against cervical cancer" (2012, Italy, Rome) testify that vaccination is the only effective method of combating cervical cancer . Based on the data of the Federal Statistical Observation from the Federal State Statistics Service and mathematical formulas developed in the course of scientific work, a calculation of economic indicators was made, extrapolated to the subject of the Russian Federation - the Voronezh region. The methods of system analysis and medical statistics were used for the study.</p> <p>Results.</p> <p>1 - Based on the analysis, it was found that cervical cancer is an urgent medical, social and economic problem.</p> <p>2 The research medical and economic analysis provided information on medical and economic losses as a result of cervical cancer.</p> <p>3 Accounting were calculated to overcome this problem on the basis of vaccination.</p> <p>4 - Formulated proposals to reduce the severity of the problem associated with cervical cancer.</p> <p>Conclusions.
