As you know, a person receives most of the information from the external environment with the help of a visual analyzer, however, based on the analysis of statistical data, more and more people who have vision problems appear every year. In the modern world, there are many factors that have a negative impact on the organ of vision, and, in fact, because of this, a person begins to experience discomfort, so maintaining the effective functioning of the visual apparatus is necessary. Since violations are caused by many different factors, there are many tests and processes related to its detection that should be started as soon as problems are detected. The purpose of the study. Determination of visual acuity, astigmatism and latent strabismus in students and schoolchildren, as well as comparison of indicators in different groups.Materials and methods. Students of the N.N. Burdenko VSMU and schoolchildren participated in the study. Visual acuity was measured, astigmatism was determined and latent strabismus was detected by an appropriate test, and all subjects were tested.Results. As a result of the study, such indicators as visual acuity, astigmatism and latent strabismus were determined, then the results were analyzed.Conclusion.
