Alcoholism is a progressive disease defined by a pathological attraction to alcoholic beverages (mental and physical dependence), the development of a dysfunctional state, withdrawal syndrome upon cessation of alcohol consumption, and in farreaching cases persistent somatoneurological disorders and mental degradation.

Relevance.

In modern society, the fight against the spread of such a socially significant problem as alcoholism has been going on for many years.

For many years, the problem of alcoholism has been a cornerstone in the development of many diseases such as hypertension, myocardiodystrophy, gastritis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, hepatitis, hepatocholecystitis, etc. [1]

Multiple and even fairly constant use of alcohol in doses that cause pronounced and even powerful intoxication, in itself is not considered alcoholism as a disease, if it is not accompanied by symptoms corresponding to this disease. In developed countries, no more than 10% of the adult population refers to unconditional teetotallers completely abstaining from alcoholic beverages. Drunkenness is considered to be repeated and systematic drinking, which causes open harm to somatic health or creates social difficulties at work, in the family, in society.[2]

The issue of alcoholism does not bypass this social category, as students. The institute age falls on the stage from 18 to 25 years. But the bulk of students, based on statistical data, drink alcohol evenly or episodically, in fact, which does not pose a real danger to their psychological and physiological well-being, it is still impossible to refute the dilemma of alcoholism within the student body.

Objectives: to study the attitude of young people to alcohol consumption, to study the motivation for alcohol consumption among young people, to identify the degree of prevalence of alcohol consumption among students of the Burdenko VSMU, to analyze the data obtained based on the survey, to provide recommendations for solving the problem of excessive alcohol consumption

Materials and methods.

The object of our research were students of the Burdenko VSMU of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation in Voronezh. The method of conducting is a survey using an anonymous questionnaire . The materials for studying this problem were the study of popular science literature, the collection of information via the Internet (ICD-10, medsoftpro).

A total of 166 people were surveyed, among whom the female sex prevailed (73.5%)

Age of participants: 51.9% of all respondents are students aged 22 years, 24.7% - 21 years, 9.3% - 18 years, 4.9% - 23 years, 2.5% - 17, 25 years, 1.9% - 24 years.
Alcohol is consumed by 80.1% of the surveyed students.
Respondents prefer alcoholic beverages such as wine, vermouth, champagne (55.7%). Beer is in the second position (47.1%), light low-alcohol cocktails are also consumed (41.4%), and they will not give up strong alcoholic beverages (37.1%). Those who drink alcohol like the state of intoxication.
It has long been established by scientists that the use of alcoholic beverages under the age of 20 often leads to alcohol dependence. Do not underestimate the harm of alcohol for a young body, even if it is still limited to beer or canned cocktails.
Only 6% of respondents have not tried alcohol. More than half of the respondents (57.8%) tried alcohol for the first time at the age of 15-18 years, there were also those (24.7%) who did it at a younger age under 15 years.
The main reason for drinking alcoholic beverages is a holiday or a meeting with friends (84.4%). Respondents drink in order to support the company or cheer themselves up.
The frequency of alcohol consumption by students: 40.8 no more than 2 times a month, 32.4% - on holidays, 11.3% - no more than 3 times a week, 15.5% - other.
There are no harmless alcoholic beverages. 89.2% of respondents agree with this. However, 10.8% of respondents believe that drinks with a low alcohol content or very expensive drinks are not harmful to the body.
Most students, based on statistical data, drink alcohol moderately or occasionally, which does not pose a serious threat to their mental and physical health. But it is still impossible to deny the problem of alcoholism among students. 43% - in a moderate amount to be in an adequate condition, 22.5% - I can always stop, 19% - one glass, a glass, a glass is enough for me. 7% - I can drink a lot, 5% - other, 3% I've never felt(a) feeling drunk.
You need to understand that there are no harmless doses of alcohol. Any alcoholic product (including: beer, low-alcohol cocktails, etc.) contains ethyl alcohol, which enters the body. Beer alcoholism is total today. In the future, these people will switch to stronger drinks. Beer is the starting point. Ethyl alcohol strengthens a painful addiction to beer. 74.7% of respondents agree that drinking beer or low-alcohol cocktails can lead to the development of alcoholism. Unfortunately, quite a large percentage (25.3%) do not know about it.
76.5% of respondents know about the dangers of alcohol. However, 22.9% believe that the harm of alcohol to the body depends on the amount of alcohol consumed.
98.2% of the surveyed students agree that alcoholism is a disease.
The main reasons for banning the sale of alcoholic beverages at night was a decrease in crime. Statistics have shown that most crimes that are committed under the influence of alcohol occur at night or in the early morning. 38.6% of respondents are positive about the law banning the sale of alcoholic beverages after 23:00 to 8:00. They treat it with indifference or consider it useless 56.10% of respondents.

Conclusion: 80.1% of 100% of the surveyed students drink alcoholic beverages; respondents prefer alcoholic beverages such as wine, vermouth, champagne (55.7%), beer is in the second position (47.1%), they also use light low-alcohol cocktails (41.4%), they will not refuse strong alcoholic beverages (37.1%). 76.5% of respondents know about the dangers of alcohol. However, 22.9% believe that the harm of alcohol to the body depends on the amount of alcohol consumed.

Thus, the main reasons for alcohol abuse in students are holidays, company support, and mood improvement. The bulk of students, based on statistical data, drink alcohol evenly or occasionally, in fact, which does not pose a serious danger to their mental and physiological health. But it is still impossible to refute the dilemma of alcoholism within students. Most students understand that alcohol harms the body and the most significant risk factors for them are poisoning of the body, liver disease and alcohol dependence. It is necessary to bring students to the fact that an excessive amount of alcohol consumed is fraught with various serious diseases, social consequences, and everyone should understand that this will affect him directly, and only when this understanding comes, it will be possible to successfully solve this problem.

From all of the above, we conclude: alcohol is a risk factor for the occurrence of CNID in students of the Burdenko VSMU of Voronezh.

In connection with the above, we recommend a healthy lifestyle: refusal to use alcoholic beverages, because alcohol does not solve the difficulties that arise, but only worsens them.

Thus, our recommendations consist in the manifestation of physical activity, sports, adherence to a certain daily routine, striving for a clear organization of personal educational work and recreation, competent preparation of a diet. A very important component is the control of one's mental health, the control of emotions, thinking in a positive direction. A healthy psyche will provide support in a state of well-being, in which you can realize your own potential. An obstacle to the emergence of the desire for alcoholic beverages is the formation of the inner cultural core of the person, her moral values, as well as the continuous need for educational and labor work.

<back><ref-list><ref id="B1">1.<mixed-citation>Алкоголизм: (Руководство для врачей) /Под ред.
