In the modern world, in the era of transformation and globalization, the problem of value education of the younger generation is becoming especially urgent. Art, as a form of social consciousness and part of the spiritual culture of society, is able to form a value worldview of an individual.&lt;br /&gt;Goal. The study of the influence of art in general and various genres of art on the formation of the value worldview of the individual.&lt;br /&gt;Materials and methods. Comparative and comparative analysis, generalization of theoretical material are used. The author relies on a historical and philosophical approach and psychological research in studying the problem of the influence of art on the moral education of the individual.&lt;br /&gt;Results. The problem of the influence of art on the formation of personality has interested a person since antiquity. Plato and Aristotle are among the first thinkers to emphasize the influence of art on the formation of human value orientations. In the Renaissance, art becomes one of the tools for the formation of an ideal universal personality. Later, German philosophers drew attention to the reflexive function of art, the possibility of revealing the spiritual potential (I. Kant) and the cognitive function of art (G. Hegel). Russian philosophers L. N. paid special attention to the role of art. Tolstoy, I. A. Ilyin, N. A. Berdyaev, who believed that art elevates the individual and promotes moral renewal. From the point of view of modern scientific research, it has been noted that art can have a positive effect on a person's emotional state, improve mental activity and concentration, as well as reduce the level of the stress hormone. Thus, art gives a person harmony and tranquility, without which it is impossible to form a full-fledged personality.&lt;br /&gt;Various genres of art have specific ways of influencing a person. For example, literature contributes to the formation of correct ideals, enriches a person's life experience and develops empathy; music educates emotional intelligence, helping to better understand one's own feelings and the feelings of others, enriches emotional and sensory experience; painting develops attentiveness, prudence, patience in the search for truth and extraordinary creative thinking.&lt;/p&gt;&#13;
&lt;p&gt;Conclusions. Art is the strongest tool for educating a person's value worldview, developing spiritual qualities of a person, moral foundations and ideals.
