Burdenko0209202211S22632661705202209082022Copyright © 2022, Tsuverkalov A., Gluschenko G.V., Zubenko I.V.2022<p>The aim of the reasurch was to study the biography of the outstanding Russian doctor, talented surgeon and teacher Fyodor Ivanovich Inozemtsev, his professional development, who was interested in medicine, as well as the pedagogical aspects of educating young doctors. Among his students there were those who became famous doctors of Russia, for example I.M. Sechenov and N.V. Sklifosovsky. The outstanding contribution of F.I. Inozemtsev in surgery was the study of the use of anesthesia during surgical operations. He is known as a practitioner, who for the first time in Russia used anesthesia. Inozemtsev was a doctor by vocation and, together with colleagues and friends, the famous surgeon N.I. Pirogov and the founder of the Moscow school of physiology A.M. Filamafitsky, dealt with the issues of anesthesia during surgical operations. Subsequently, together with other doctors, they stood at the origins of the creation of the Moscow Society of Russian Doctors.
