Pirogov during the Crimean War, discusses his activities, innovations and discoveries.<br />Nowadays it is impossible not to agree with the idea that the medical sphere in our country is quite developed. It is especially important to know who contributed to this development. Many methods of treatment of patients, which are used even now, were developed in XIX-XX centuries. Therefore, it is important to know who was the discoverer (inventor, developer). This article is devoted to the activity of N.I. Pirogov, who made a significant contribution to Russian medicine.<br />The main goals and tasks of our work are: <br />- To get acquainted with the biography of N.I.
