The issue of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) in children remains significant due to the high incidence of co-infections, with reported rates ranging from 20% to 80%, which necessitates regional monitoring. Objective. Analysis of epidemiological data in children with mixed viral infections hospitalized at the regional hospital in Voronezh. Materials and methods. A retrospective analysis was conducted of 6,016 medical records of children with laboratory-confirmed etiology of ARVI for the period 20222023. Results. The proportion of mixed infections remained stable over the two-year period (approximately 8.5%). The highest rate of co-infection was recorded during the winter months (NovemberJanuary). Children aged 1 to 3 years constituted the largest age group (35.3%). It was found that in 2022, the proportion of children under one year of age was significantly higher than in 2023 (25% vs. 12.2%, p0.05), whereas in 2023, children older than 6 years were more frequently affected (25.2% vs. 12.9%, p0.05). The leading etiological agent in the associations was rhinovirus, whose proportion increased significantly from 23.5% in 2022 to 31.4% in 2023 (p0.05). The most common combination was rhinovirus with adenovirus. Conclusion. The data obtained underscore the importance of etiological characterization of ARVI for optimizing diagnosis and treatment, as well as the need for continued monitoring of viral circulation.&lt;/p&gt;
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>acute respiratory viral infection</kwd><kwd>mixed infection</kwd><kwd>children</kwd><kwd>rhinovirus</kwd><kwd>adenovirus</kwd><kwd>combined etiology</kwd><kwd>epidemiology</kwd><kwd>hospitalized patients</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>ОРВИ</kwd><kwd>микст-инфекция</kwd><kwd>дети</kwd><kwd>риновирус</kwd><kwd>аденовирус</kwd><kwd>сочетанная этиология</kwd><kwd>эпидемиология</kwd><kwd>госпитализированные пациенты</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Региональные особенности этиологии острых респираторных инфекций у госпитализированных детей в период с 2019 по 2023 г / С.
