The most studied methods in this aspect are pharmacogenetics, which make it possible to predict the body's response to drugs based on the analysis of genes encoding carrier proteins, receptors, and metabolic enzymes. Studies show that the prevalence of polymorphic markers varies significantly among representatives of different ethnic groups. This work is devoted to the analysis of pharmacokinetic markers of the CYP2C19, CYP2C9 (cytochrome P450 system) genes and the MDR1 gene encoding p-glycoprotein in the population of the Voronezh region. The choice of these markers is due to their key role in drug metabolism. The frequency of carriage of polymorphic variants of these genes among the population of the region has been determined. The data obtained make it possible to predict with high probability the characteristics of the response to drug therapy in patients of the Voronezh region and reduce the risk of possible adverse drug reactions.&lt;/p&gt;
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>pharmacogenetics</kwd><kwd>p-glycoprotein</kwd><kwd>cytochrome P450</kwd><kwd>clopidogrel</kwd><kwd>warfarin</kwd><kwd>oral anticoagulants</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>фармакогенетика</kwd><kwd>р-гликопротеин</kwd><kwd>цитохром Р450</kwd><kwd>клопидогрел</kwd><kwd>варфарин</kwd><kwd>оральные антикоагулянты</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Li Y, Yuan H, Yang K, et al.
