The aim of the work was to examine the awareness and attitudes of medical students towards smart personal hygiene devices and to identify the main barriers to their use. The study was conducted using anonymous structured questionnaires among 62 students of Burdenko VSMU aged 1825 years, employing an original 9-item questionnaire including a Likert scale for attitude assessment; statistical analysis included Pearson's -test, Mann-Whitney U-test, and content analysis of open-ended responses. The results showed high student awareness of smart devices (95.2%), while actual usage was 46.8%; the most popular were smart bracelets (45.2%) and smart toothbrushes (32.3%). The mean score for perceived usefulness was 3.68 out of 5, trust in data  3.48, with the main barriers being data unreliability (35.5%), high cost (29.0%), and privacy concerns (24.2%). Comparative analysis revealed statistically significant differences between users and non-users in perceived usefulness (4.21 vs 3.21; p0.001) and data trust (3.86 vs 3.15; p=0.008). Thus, the study demonstrated the development of critical professional thinking among medical students regarding digital health technologies, which can inform educational programs and recommendations for the use of smart devices in medical practice.&lt;/p&gt;
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>smart devices</kwd><kwd>personal hygiene</kwd><kwd>medical students</kwd><kwd>digital health</kwd><kwd>fitness trackers</kwd><kwd>smart toothbrushes</kwd><kwd>data privacy</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>умные устройства</kwd><kwd>личная гигиена</kwd><kwd>студенты-медики</kwd><kwd>цифровое здоровье</kwd><kwd>фитнес-трекеры</kwd><kwd>умные зубные щётки</kwd><kwd>конфиденциальность данных</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Global Digital Health Market Report 2024.
