Theoretical justification, as well as using the empirical part of the study, toidentifythe features of the emergency response among the staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations when dealing with emergencies involving child victims,in order todevelop recommendations for prevention. Materials and methods. The theoretical and methodological basis of the work was based on scientific publications by Russian and foreign authors in the field of psychology of extreme situations, psychiatry, and psychophysiology. The analysis of information contained in articles, systematic reviews, and methodological recommendations on the problems of professional stress in extreme specialists was carried out. The empirical part of the study included the development of a questionnaire for employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations whoparticipatedin the elimination of emergencies with children. For this purpose, clinical questionnaires and standardizedpsychodiagnostictechniques were used (works by I.O. Kotenev, N.E.Vodopyanova, as well as diagnostic criteria of DSM-IV and ICD-10). Results. The study details specific stress factors (self-identification with a child, feeling powerless in the face oftragedyand an unfulfilled duty to protect). The survey results also revealed that employees who haveparticipatedin emergencies involving children have a higher risk of developing OCD. Thisindicatesthat they are more likely to develop a chronic form of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This isevidencedby their high scores onthe intrusion, avoidance, and physiological arousal scales. Preventive measures should include psychological training for working with vulnerable populations, including children. An important aspect is the training of self-regulation skills andmaintainingapsychoemotionaland psychophysiological state of health. It is recommended toobservea work and rest regime, proper nutrition, and mutualassistancein the team. Conclusions. The goal was achieved: the features of acute stress disorders in employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations during the elimination of emergencies with child victims were studied, and preventive measures were proposed.
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>acute stress disorder (ASD)</kwd><kwd>post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)</kwd><kwd>Ministry of Emergency Situations employees</kwd><kwd>emergency situation (ES)</kwd><kwd>child victims</kwd><kwd>psychological trauma</kwd><kwd>prevention</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>острое стрессовое расстройство (ОСР)</kwd><kwd>посттравматическое стрессовое расстройство (ПТСР)</kwd><kwd>сотрудники МЧС</kwd><kwd>чрезвычайная ситуация (ЧС)</kwd><kwd>детские жертвы</kwd><kwd>психологическая травма</kwd><kwd>профилактика</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front>

<back><ref-list><ref id="B1">1.<mixed-citation>Петрова А.В., Склярова Т.П.
