Initially considered to be an exclusively respiratory infection, coronavirus disease is now recognized as a systemic disease affecting various organs and tissues, including the kidneys. High expression of receptors Angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 in the kidney tissue - Bowman's capsule, tubular epithelium and vascular endothelium - determines the tropism of the virus towards the kidneys and explains the wide range of renal complications. The aim. Studying changes in the kidneys caused by Covid-19 using radiological diagnostic methods. Materials and methods. The study analyzes domestic and foreign publications from the past ten years. Results. The work is set, that kidney damage in coronavirus infection is manifested by functional and structural disorders. Computed tomography allows for the detection of hypodense areas of the parenchyma, reduced density, and vascular complications. Magnetic resonance imaging provides an assessment of fibrosis and edema. Ultrasonic diagnostics with Doppler imaging and contrast enhancement are effective for early diagnosis of perfusion disorders and dynamic monitoring.&lt;/p&gt;
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>kidneys</kwd><kwd>Covid-19</kwd><kwd>computed tomography</kwd><kwd>magnetic resonance imaging</kwd><kwd>ultrasound</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>почки</kwd><kwd>Covid-19</kwd><kwd>компьютерная томография</kwd><kwd>магнитно-резонансная томография</kwd><kwd>ультразвуковое исследование</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Mohamadian M, Chiti H, Shoghli A, Biglari S, Parsamanesh N, Esmaeilzadeh A.
