In our country, in 2023, more than 16.4 thousand patients were diagnosed with cervical cancer (cervical cancer) for the first time in their lives. Mast cells (TC) are one of the frequent representatives of the microenvironment with the potential for local regulation at the tissue and cellular levels. However, the role of TC in tumor morphogenesis is not fully understood and is sometimes contradictory. Goal. The study of the role of TC in the morphogenesis of breast cancer and their prognostic significance. Materials and methods. The study performed a morphometric analysis of biopsies of squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix taken from 21 patients aged 25-74 years. Chymase and tryptase in TK were immunohistochemically detected using monoclonal mouse antibodies to the corresponding enzymes. Results. Comparing chymase and tryptase TK in the tumor and separately in the periphery, we found that the difference between the number of cells in both cases is not significant. This means that they are in approximately the same number at a given location. However, after conducting a statistical analysis individually for each of the enzymes, depending on the localization, we obtained statistically significant differences in the number of cells. Conclusions. TCS tend to congregate on the periphery. The number of cells decreased linearly as the depth of invasion and the number of mitoses increased. The lower the degree of tumor differentiation, the more TC increases. It becomes obvious that an increase in the number of TCS along the periphery of the tumor signals an unfavorable prognosis of the underlying disease.&lt;/p&gt;
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>cervical cancer</kwd><kwd>mast cells</kwd><kwd>tryptase</kwd><kwd>chymosis</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>рак шейки матки</kwd><kwd>тучные клетки</kwd><kwd>триптаза</kwd><kwd>химаза</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Коротких И.Н., Сертаков И.А., Филин А.А. к вопросу о клинико-морфологических особенностях цервикального рака в воронежском регионе.
