The dynamics of the incidence of acute intestinal infections in the Voronezh region was assessed, the age structure was studied, and high-risk groups were identified. An analysis of the incidence of salmonella infections in the Voronezh Region in 2023 revealed an excess of the incidence rate by 1.97 in comparison with the data for the Russian Federation. The adult population accounted for 60% of the cases. The incidence of bacterial dysentery in the Voronezh Region tends to decrease and does not exceed the indicators of the Russian Federation. The adult population accounted for 51% of the cases. Acute hepatitis "A" tends to decrease, however, in 2018 and 2019, an increase in cases was recorded, exceeding the figures for the Russian Federation by 0.72 and 0.9 per 100,000 people. accordingly. In the structure of cases, the adult population accounted for 34%, among the children's population, 34% of the cases were children aged three to six years. The incidence of hepatitis E in the Voronezh Region increased 2.7 times during the analyzed period and exceeds the incidence rates in the Russian Federation. There is an increase in the incidence of other intestinal infections of established etiology, affecting mainly the child population -84%. Acute intestinal infections currently do not lose their significance and require a detailed study of the cause and prevalence.</div> </div> </div> </div> </div> </section> </div> </div> </div>
