Every year more than 630 thousand cases of HPV-associated cancer are registered worldwide, which causes a psycho-emotional disturbance in infected patients due to the uncertainty of the prognosis. The goal of this study is to determine the impact of HPV-status awareness on the level of subjective well-being. Materials and methods. The study involved 434 patients aged 18-30 who filled out the survey (A. Perue-Badu questionnaire) and gynecological examination with PCR-diagnosis of HPV. Results. The results showed that patients with HPV-infection experience and awareness of its risks showed increased levels of tension, sensitivity, and self-esteem of health, while no significant differences were found in the clusters "importance of the social environment" and "satisfaction with daily activities". The highest scores on the mood swings cluster were found in women with HPV-negative status, but who were aware of a previous infection, <span lang="EN-US">which may be related to anxiety about relapses. Conclusions. Thus, awareness of HPV-status significantly affects subjective well-being, emphasizing the need for psychological support to improve the quality of life of patients.</span></p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>HPV</kwd><kwd>subjective well-being scale</kwd><kwd>tension</kwd><kwd>self-assessment of health</kwd><kwd>psycho-emotional status</kwd><kwd>mood</kwd><kwd>social environment</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>ВПЧ</kwd><kwd>шкала субъективного благополучия</kwd><kwd>напряженность</kwd><kwd>самооценка здоровья</kwd><kwd>психоэмоциональное состояние</kwd><kwd>настроение</kwd><kwd>социальное окружение</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front>

<back><ref-list><ref id="B1">1.<mixed-citation>Faizuloev EB, Kaira AN, Uzbekov TR, Poromov AA, Volynskaya EA, Svitich OA, Zverev VV.
