There are two main types of choriocarcinoma: gestational (associated with pregnancy) and nongestational (outside of pregnancy). The gestational form occurs only in women and is typically linked to pregnancy, whereas the nongestational form affects both sexes. In this case, choriocarcinoma is a type of germ cell tumor that most commonly arises from the cells that form the human reproductive system. In men, it typically develops at a young age and affects the testes.</em></p>
<p><em>Previous cases of unique clinical case of extragenital liver involvement with choriocarcinoma in a 36-year-old male. This disease presentation is rare, which complicated both the diagnostic process and the selection of treatment methods. The patient was admitted to the hospital with signs of rapidly developing multiple organ failure, which led to the diagnosis being confirmed post-mortem through histological and immunohistochemical studies.
