Currently, this technique is actively developing and applied in the field of pathological anatomy and forensic medical examination. Unlike classical autopsy, virtopsy provides a practical and highly informative non-invasive method for examining the body or its parts without violating the integrity of tissues. It allows obtaining more accurate data due to 3D reconstruction and the ability to study the human body in various planes. In addition, virtopsy is a safer diagnostic method for medical personnel and easier to implement. The aim of the work was to develop and apply a set of original methods for macroscopic study of biological samples with soft tissue and bone components using elements of virtopsy research. In this article, the authors examined the use of virtopsia elements using soft tissue neoplasms of the extremities as an example and reconstructed bone fragment samples from 3 upper and 13 lower extremities, as well as reconstructed bone fragment material enclosed in insulating media. The study allows us to assess the potential for developing the use of computed tomography methods in postmortem diagnostics of soft tissue and bone structure pathologies and injuries.
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>pathological anatomy</kwd><kwd>forensic medicine</kwd><kwd>autopsy</kwd><kwd>postmortem radiation diagnostics</kwd><kwd>computed tomography</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>патологическая анатомия</kwd><kwd>судебная медицина</kwd><kwd>виртопсия</kwd><kwd>посмертная лучевая диагностика</kwd><kwd>компьютерная томография</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front>

<back><ref-list><ref id="B1">1.<mixed-citation>Espinosa-Brito AD, de Mendoza-Amat JH.
