Relevance. Music therapy is an effective method of correcting the psycho-emotional state of patients with mental illness. At the same time, the influence of music therapy on the emotional state of different groups of patients is poorly studied. The aim of the work was to evaluate the changes in the psycho-emotional state of patients with mental disorders during group psychotherapeutic sessions of music therapy. Methods and materials. The study included the psycho-emotional state of patients, adults and children, participating in regular group music therapy sessions in dispensary. Dynamic assessment of patients' emotional state was carried out by means of psychological testing, verbal questioning and observational method. Results. In the group of adults and children suffering from mental disorders, short-term positive psychotherapeutic effects during music therapy sessions were noted. The group of adult patients showed more interest in the communicative and educational side of the sessions. Conclusions. Music therapy sessions in combination with medication and rehabilitation have a positive effect on the psycho-emotional state of patients, both adults and children. However, it is necessary to develop differentiated programmes for adults and children, taking into account their age, nature of mental disorder and stages of the disease.</span></em></p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>music therapy</kwd><kwd>psychoemotional state</kwd><kwd>mental disorders</kwd><kwd>psychological testing</kwd><kwd>patients</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>музыкотерапия</kwd><kwd>психоэмоциональное состояние</kwd><kwd>психические расстройства</kwd><kwd>психологическое тестирование</kwd><kwd>пациенты</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front>

- 602 с.</mixed-citation></ref></ref-list></back>
