Regular adequate physical activity has a favourable effect on a child's health. Systematic physical training and sports contribute to the strengthening of children's health. However, it is important to realise that in the world of sport, injuries are an integral part, especially when it comes to children. Child traumatism in sports is a serious problem that requires attention and a comprehensive approach, which determines the relevance of this study. The aim of our study is the structure of sports injuries in children of the Belgorod region. We analysed the injuries sustained by children during sports activities. The study group included 728 cases. Distribution by sex: 485 (67%) boys and 243 (33%) girls. Ranking by age and conditions of injury was done. All cases were divided by age into 3 subgroups: 1st subgroup - 1-6 years, 2nd subgroup - 7-12 years and 3rd subgroup - 13-17 years inclusive. Young children of the 1st subgroup - 1-6 years of age - 12 (31%) (n=39) were seriously injured during sports activities when falling from a parallel bars. The most common sports injury in children over 7 years old is contusion - 282 (73%) cases. The most traumatic sports are ball sports, with injuries in our study amounting to 186 (26%) cases.</p>sportchildrensporttraumaспортдетиспорттравмы1.Иорданская, Ф. А.
