The most common limb fractures are: sprains of the ligamentous apparatus, fractures of the lower limb, as well as the radius, fractures of the collarbone, pelvic bones. The problem of childhood injuries cannot be confined exclusively to the health system, because the occurrence of trauma in a child is caused by a combination of unfavorable conditions and factors, among which the leading place is given to the social component. Goal. Analysis of ankle joint injuries in children and adolescents. Materials and methods. During the study, the statistics of visits to the emergency room of the OGBUZ of Belgorod for ankle injuries in children during summer activity in 2023 were analyzed. 383 cases were selected for the study group. Conclusion. The most common injury to the ankle joint is a sprain, damage to the ligamentous apparatus 331 (86%), which is explained by the peculiarities of the structure and biomechanics of the joint. The widest age group is the group of 7-12 years 171 (45%), which is explained by the high and diverse activity of children, as well as periods of active separation from adults and the peculiarities of the psycho-emotional component. Boys are more often injured 200 (52%), but the difference in the ratio is insignificant, which suggests that ankle injuries are not associated with specific types of children's activities, but are a common problem.</p>childreninjuryankle injuryдетитравматизмтравма голеностопа1.Парфенова, И.
