In recent years, there has been increasing interest in the role of vitamin D not only in maintaining the skeletal system, but also in regulating metabolic processes, including glucose metabolism. The aim of the study is to investigate the effect of vitamin D levels on the development and course of T2DM in patients of different ages and genders. The study involves patients diagnosed with T2DM who undergo a clinical examination, including determination of vitamin D levels. Biochemical blood test data (HbA1c), including lipid profile (TC, HDL, non-HDL, LDL, TG) are analyzed. The results of clinical studies assessing the effectiveness of restoring vitamin D levels in patients with T2DM and its effect on blood glucose levels and other metabolic parameters are also considered. The study highlights the need for monitoring vitamin D levels in patients with type 2 diabetes and the prospects for its use as an additional therapeutic strategy to improve metabolic control and reduce the risk of complications.&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>vitamin D</kwd><kwd>type 2 diabetes</kwd><kwd>insulin resistance</kwd><kwd>metabolic control</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>витамин D</kwd><kwd>сахарный диабет 2 типа</kwd><kwd>резистентность к инсулину</kwd><kwd>контроль обмена веществ</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Эргашева Г.Т.
