In modern cities, there is a sharp deterioration in the environmental situation due to water pollution, electromagnetic and noise pollution, as well as the influence of climatic conditions. The psychoemotional state and unhealthy lifestyle are also of great importance, which leads to premature aging of the body. This study assessed the influence of environmental factors on the rate of aging based on differences in the calendar and biological age of urban and rural populations. We came to the conclusion that poor-quality drinking water according to sanitary and chemical indicators is a negative factor affecting the health of the rural population. People living in the city are negatively affected by the quality of atmospheric air and noise. The assessment of differences in calendar and biological age between groups of elderly people living in urban and rural areas did not reveal significant differences.
