The relevance of the work is related to the high prevalence of traumatic brain injuries in different regions of our country. In case of head injuries, the provision of qualified assistance by an ambulance team is very important: proper assessment of the victim's condition, emergency care at the scene and prompt hospital delivery. The purpose of the work was to analyze traumatic brain injuries in the Republic of Crimea. Materials and methods of the study: A retrospective analysis was carried out on the basis of statistical data from State Budgetary Healthcare Institution of the Republic of Crimea "Crimean Republican Center for Disaster Medicine and Emergency Medical Care" for 2023-2024, as well as data from medical literature selected for the period 2019-2024. To analyze the provision of emergency care for head injuries in the period 2023-2024, cases of calls with the specified injury were selected. 7 cases of head injuries were studied, with different clinical pictures and course. The results of the study clearly showed a tendency towards a decrease in the frequency of complaints about head injuries, however, there was no such decrease in the number of cases of head injuries. In conclusion, we assume that such indicators are associated with an increase in the frequency and severity of cases requiring specialized medical care in a hospital setting (i.e., hospitalization).
