Absence of the spleen leads to the development of hyposplenism with corresponding metabolic and immune disorders. During injuries or surgeries on this organ, the structural integrity of the tissue is violated with subsequent bleeding. As one of the modern methods of haemostasis bipolar diathermocoagulation is used - cauterisation of damaged tissue by high-precision electric current. Objective. To study experimentally the peculiarities of diathermocoagulation influence on the spleen tissue at microscopic level 7 and 30 days after traumatic injury. Materials and methods. Operative intervention using laboratory rats. Injury of the spleen parenchyma and subsequent haemostasis using bipolar diathermocoagulation. Withdrawal of animals from the experiment after 7 and 30 days with the subsequent histological examination of the taken material. Results. Experimentally revealed differences at microscopic levels at the coagulator exposure with different amount of time. Conclusion. It is established that bipolar diathermocoagulation is a modern and effective method of local haemostasis at surgical interventions on the spleen. The peculiarities of the course of reparative processes in the organ tissue 7 and 30 days after the operation were revealed.&lt;/p&gt;
<kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Trauma</kwd><kwd>haemorrhag</kwd><kwd>haemostasis</kwd><kwd>spleen</kwd><kwd>electrocoagulation</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Травма</kwd><kwd>кровотечение</kwd><kwd>гемостаз</kwd><kwd>селезёнка</kwd><kwd>электрокоагуляция</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>1.
