Diabetes mellitus poses a significant risk to both the mother and fetus, which requires a special approach to its treatment. Insulin therapy is the "gold standard" in the correction of hyperglycemia in gestational diabetes mellitus (DM), type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Human insulin analogues are the safest drugs. The selection of doses should be carried out individually, taking into account the level of glycemia. The purpose of the study. - to study the structure of insulin administration in pregnant women with diabetes mellitus in the endocrinology department of one of the hospitals in Kursk for 2022-2023. Materials and methods of research. The medical records of 14 patients with diabetes in one of the hospitals in Kursk for 2022-2023 were analyzed by continuous sampling. The average age of the patients was 304 years. The results of the study. In 2022-2023, 2 patients were treated in the endocrinology department of one of the hospitals in Kursk in 2022 and 12 patients in 2023. All patients received short- and long-acting insulin during the study period. The most preferred were insulin aspart and detemir. Conclusion: the choice of safe therapy during pregnancy, taking into account current clinical recommendations, helps to stabilize the condition of the pregnant woman, significantly reduce the risk of complications and improve the prognosis for mother and child.
