This scientific article presents a multifactorial analysis aimed at studying the interrelationships between various personal characteristics, family background and the dynamics of romantic relationships. Relevance. The study offers a new perspective on the factors that can influence the duration and quality of romantic relationships, providing valuable data for further research in the field of relationship psychology and family therapy. Goal. Analyze and compare the responses received during the passage of questionnaires by couples in a relationship. Materials and methods. The analysis is based on data collected from 42 participants (21 couples) between the ages of 18 and 21. The study covers such parameters as matching desires regarding the frequency of meetings, BMI, sports, having a normal relationship with parents in childhood, as well as the ratio of temperament types in a couple. Results. The correspondence of desires regarding the frequency of meetings varies depending on the duration of a romantic relationship, while BMI, sports and temperament types did not show a statistically significant effect on the duration of the relationship. Couples who have a normal relationship with their parents in childhood tend to have a longer romantic relationship. Special attention is paid to the analysis of changes in preferences and relationships in couples over time, emphasizing the importance of communication and mutual understanding to maintain a harmonious relationship. Conclusions.
