This pathology is most common in adolescents, but can occur at any age, from newborn girls to menopausal women. Objective. To study a clinical case of giant paraovarial cyst in an adolescent girl. Materials and Methods. Retrospective analysis of the patient's medical history. Results. Patient E., 15 years old. In November 2022, she went to the polyclinic at the place of residence with complaints of abdominal enlargement in size. When undergoing ultrasound of the abdominal cavity, a cystic formation of the abdominal region of large size was detected; the child was referred for consultation to the pediatric surgeon of ODKB No. 2 in Voronezh. MR signs of a cystic volumetric mass of irregular oval shape with the dimensions of 23x23x10 cm. 02.12.2022 Laparotomy, removal of the right paraovarial cyst, drainage of the abdominal cavity. The postoperative period proceeded well without complications. The patient was discharged from the hospital on the 15th day in satisfactory condition. Conclusion. In the practice of pediatric surgeon one can meet with rare cases of paraovarial cysts formation in uterine appendages. Minimally invasive technique should be sought.
