Abstract
The main content of the study is the analysis of the results of conservative treatment of children with testicular hydatid torsion. The issue of treatment and diagnostic tactics in such conditions continues to be debatable, and the established, firmly established ideas at the present time are already beginning to be revised [1]. There is an undoubted need for a clearly algorithmic, reliable tactics that would allow making a choice in the direction of the most optimal treatment option in each specific case [2]. Through a detailed analysis of patient data, as well as long-term results, it was concluded that a conservative approach to treatment is beneficial in children with testicular hydatid torsion. When the method of treatment was changed from conservative to surgical, there was no deterioration in the condition of the testis during the observation period. Accordingly, the potential need for it cannot be considered a contraindication to taking the conservative path. Summarizing the materials of practical experience, we can conclude that this method is the safest, most effective and modern, based on expanding the possibilities of diagnosing this pathology and timely monitoring of the scrotum in patients over time.

Relevance. Due to the fact that the difference in the methods of diagnosis and treatment remains, there is a need to create a holistic algorithm that allows you to choose the most appropriate option for further actions.
Goal. To develop a universal tactic that would allow choosing the most appropriate method of treating testicular hydatid torsion in children and analyzing the results.
Materials and methods. Patients were divided into three groups: Conservative treatment (n=150), surgical treatment (n=150), conversion of methods (n=41). The parameters used for the analysis were as follows: age (months), duration of the disease (months) and the size of the hydatid (mm). Analysis of long-term results (after 1 year) in three comparative groups of patients.
Result. Initial analyzed parameters of patients:
1. Conservative treatment (n=150): age 108.38±8.53; duration of the disease (hours) 29.54±1.67; hydatid size (mm) 6.38±0.78.
2. Surgical treatment (n=150): age 104.95±6.67; duration of the disease (hours) 31.59±1.58; size of the hydatid (mm) 6.89±0.85.
3. Conversion of methods (n=41): age 110.51±12.26; duration of the disease (hours) 29.08±1.45; size of the hydatid (mm) 6.85±0.78.
Results after 1 year:
When calculating and comparing the results of treatment according to the criteria: the frequency of orchalgia, the frequency of asymmetry of gonadal volumes, the severity of asymmetry of gonadal volumes, the heterogeneity of the structure of the testicle and appendage, the frequency of asymmetry of testicular blood flow, the severity of asymmetry of the maximum velocity of testicular blood flow, a clear advantage was revealed for the conservative method.
Conclusions.Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that a conservative approach to the treatment of testicular hydatid torsion in children is a reliable, rational and effective method. Changing the treatment method from conservative to surgical does not lead to deterioration of the gonad. The conservative method of patient management is a modern approach based on the expansion of diagnostic capabilities and timely assessment of the scrotal organs in dynamics.
