The relevance of the topic of burnout syndrome is very high, since absolutely every person can face this problem. The majority of employees are exposed to stress for a long time, which leads to a decrease in emotional stability, the emergence of dissatisfaction with their own work and themselves. Modern society makes increased demands on the individual, which further encourages a person to emotional stress and overstrain [2]. Of particular relevance to the study of the syndrome of emotional burnout are specialists working in emergency situations, which belong to the category of intense, extreme work with a threat to life and high responsibility for the lives of the people around them. This profession includes specialists from the Center for Disaster Medicine.
The syndrome of emotional burnout has been studied in pedagogical specialists of pedagogical professions, psychiatrists, narcologists, dentists, but there is not enough scientific data on the study of the syndrome of emotional burnout in specialists of the disaster medicine center.
The working conditions of specialists of the center of disaster medicine in terms of the degree of labor intensity refer to the 2nd degree of the 3rd class. This degree leads to persistent functional changes, characterized by an increase in the number of occupational diseases.
An employee of the disaster medicine center provides medical assistance to people in emergency situations in a short period of time
Specialists of the disaster medicine center face people who need help, have lost their homes and loved ones, which leads to constant psychological stress and further depletion of the body's reserves and the formation of a burnout syndrome.
Purpose: to study the degree of formation of the burnout syndrome among specialists of the disaster medicine center.
Materials and methods:
We examined 32 people on the basis of the Voronezh Regional Clinical Center for Disaster Medicine in order to determine the degree of manifestation of the burnout syndrome among specialists working in emergency situations. The diagnostic technique for identifying the severity of emotional burnout among specialists was carried out according to V.V. Boyko [5] . The examined are doctors of various specialties, paramedical personnel and drivers of the CMC, working in emergency situations to eliminate the medical and sanitary consequences of emergency situations.
According to the results of our study, out of 32 examined, 7 people had burnout syndrome formed (21.8%), 4 people were in the formation stage (12.5%) and 21 people had no burnout syndrome (65.6% ).
Symptoms that characterized the syndrome of emotional burnout:
• Physical: fatigue, fatigue, sleep disturbance, decreased performance, poor health (dizziness, shortness of breath, nausea, various pains)
• Emotional: pessimism, dullness of feelings, lack of desire to emotionally respond to a difficult situation, growing internal tension, irritation, anxiety
• Behavioral: increase in time spent at work, development of a negative attitude towards one's job duties
• Social: lack of time and energy for communication, hobbies, sports, deterioration of relationships with loved ones, work colleagues [1]
The following phases of CMEA development have been identified:
1. phase - "stress": characterized by the experience of traumatic circumstances. There is anxiety, dissatisfaction with oneself and one's work
2. phase - "resistance": there is an inadequate response to various situations, emotional disorientation
3. phase - "exhaustion": there is an emotional deficit, characterized by detachment from what is happening and the people around [5]
In the process of our study, a regularity was revealed, which consists in the presence of a formed syndrome of emotional burnout among employees with more than 9 years of work experience in their position. In the vast majority of cases, the burnout syndrome was characterized by a phase of exhaustion.
The syndrome of emotional burnout was manifested by a feeling of fatigue, fatigue, a drop in working capacity, a decrease in the emotional state, the development of a negative attitude towards work, psychosomatic and psychovegetative disorders.
This leads to the conclusion that with a long period of work with hard work in extreme and emergency situations, a syndrome of emotional burnout is formed, for the prevention of which it is necessary to carry out rehabilitation measures, psychological support.
You should try to calculate and distribute workloads, switch from one type of activity to another, treat conflict situations easier, and also not “compare yourself with others”, “be better” than your colleagues [3, 4]
Conclusion:
According to the results of the study, out of all the examined patients, the syndrome of emotional burnout was formed in 21.8%, in the formation stage it is 12.5% and there are no signs of formation withemotional burnout syndrome in 65.6%.
A regularity has been revealed that people with a developed burnout syndrome have more than 9 years of work experience in their position.
With an increase in work experience in a specialty with hard work in extreme and emergency situations, a syndrome of emotional burnout is formed, for the prevention of which it is necessary to carry out rehabilitation measures, psychological support.
