Abstract

The purpose of the study is to study the affordability of a range of drugs used to treat neurotic disorders.
Materials and research methods. For the study, data presented on the official websites of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (the state register of medicines, clinical recommendations for treatment) were used as information resources; World Health Organization (International Classification of Diseases 10 edition); online pharmacies: ZdravCity, Apteka.ru, Sber Eapteka, AptekaMos.
Research methods: structural, comparative, logical, systemic types of analysis.
Results. Drug treatment of neurotic disorders includes the use of such groups of drugs as sedatives, anxiolytics, antidepressants, nootropics, psychostimulants, adaptogenic and antianginal agents [2]. Based on the indications for use indicated in the instructions for the use of drugs of the above groups, an assortment of drugs was compiled for the treatment of increased irritability, nervous excitability, neurotic and neurosis-like conditions. The range includes 15 international non-proprietary names (INN), 73 trade names (TN), 249 drug names (MP).
For the analysis of retail prices, the average prices of drugs presented in the assortment were calculated. In the course of the analysis, prices were calculated for 104 MD items from this assortment (41.77%), 145 MD items were not available in the studied pharmacy organizations. According to the average prices of drugs, price ranges were identified: low (16-306 rubles), medium (306-596 rubles), high (580-885 rubles). The majority of MDs (79.81%), including 12 INNs, are represented in the low price range. In the average price range, there are 15 drug names (14.42%) under 1 INN. There are 6 drugs under 1 INN in the high price range.
Conclusions. As a result of the analysis of retail prices, it was found that the maximum share (79.81%) falls on drugs of the low price segment (16-306 rubles). This indicates a high level of affordability of drugs for the treatment of neurotic disorders for the population.
