Abstract
The change in the ratio of type I and type III collagens, as a manifestation of connective tissue dysplasia, has attracted the attention of surgeons in recent years. In this connection, hernioimplants with collagen-stimulating coating are of great interest to surgeons.

Relevance: The change in the ratio of collagens of types I and III, as a manifestation of connective tissue dysplasia, has attracted the attention of surgeons in recent years [1, 2]. In this connection, hernioimplants with collagen-stimulating coating are of great interest to surgeons [3].The aim of the study was to compare morphological changes in the tissues of the anterior abdominal wall of animals at the site of endoprosthesis.Material and methods: the experimental part of the study was performed on 45 rats who underwent endoprosthetics with a supra-aponeurotic prosthesis arrangement. In group 1, a polypropylene mesh hernioimplant was used. In group 2, a polypropylene hernioimplant coated with dexpanthenol was used. In group 3, a polypropylene hernioimplant coated with ascorbic acid was used. The animals were removed from the experiment on the 7th, 30th, 90th day. Results: as a result of the study of experimental samples in all three groups, around the threads of hernia implants, at the late stages of the experiment, the formation of a connective tissue capsule was noted, in which mature collagen fibers were present. In group 3, the most optimal morphological picture of implant engraftment was revealed. Such changes could occur due to the stimulation of collagenogenesis by the coating used in the experiment. Conclusions: The observed morphological signs in the tissue surrounding the hernioimplant indicated an optimal reaction in the group with ascorbic acid coating. It was also revealed that this material had the best biological inertia, integrated well into the surrounding tissue, and the coating reduced the reaction of body tissues to the implant.
