Burdenko (VSMU) and 36 students Voronezh State University (VSU). A comparative analysis of the survey results was carried out. Methods of statistical processing, the Microsoft Excel program and Statistica 12 were used.Results. A comparative analysis of the results of the student survey showed that the family is different in the representation of medical students and non-medical students. VSMU students would like to build their family on the basis of love, during their student years. The family must have one or two relatives or foster children, whom they would like to raise both independently and with the support of relatives. For doctors, the family is primarily a continuation of the family. VSU students believe that the necessary condition for starting a family, along with love, is the completion of education and the age of 26 - 35 years. The family does not have to have children. At the same time, most want to raise children on their own. For non-doctors, family is primarily a psychological comfort.Conclusion. RELEVANCE In the modern, constantly changing world, in the age of information technology, humanity is still concerned about the formation of the family model and its function in the life of society [1, 2, 3]. Approaches to family values in each state have always had their own characteristic features [4]. Historical traditions, way of life, national characteristics, political system, socio-economic situation - have an impact on the construction of family relations. In Russia, in comparison with other European countries, traditional family values have not changed for many decades [5]. In 2020, a number of amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation were adopted by universal suffrage, in particular on the protection of the institution of marriage as a union of a man and a woman [6]. In this regard, the study of the institution of the family among young people is of particular interest, therefore this study is relevant. The aim is to reveal the peculiarities of the formation of family values among students under the influence of their future profession and to increase the popularization of the family by improving educational and extracurricular work with students.MATERIALS AND METHODS A questionnaire of 17 questions has been developed to study the attitude of young students to building a family and family values. An interuniversity survey was conducted of 84 students aged 18 to 23 years, the average age was 19.37± 1.23. Of these, 80 people are single (95.2%), 4 are married (4.8%). The respondents had no children. There were 2 groups: 1 group – 48 students of Voronezh State Medical University named after N.N.Burdenko and 2 group - 36 students of humanities faculties of Voronezh State University. A comparative analysis of the results of the survey of students was carried out. Methods of statistical processing, Microsoft Excel and Statistica 12 were used.RESULTS The survey showed that the family in the understanding of 76 students (90.5%) is a registered marriage where husband and wife are equal. There is no statistically significant difference between the responses of groups 1 and 2 (p=0.18).To the question "To create a family, first of all, it is necessary ..." 66 students (78.6%) answered "love and the desire to be together." At the same time, a statistically significant (p=0.021) preference for this answer was revealed among physicians (95.8%) compared with students of the humanities faculties of VSU (55.6%). "Completion of education" was noted by 4.2% of physicians and 33.3% of humanities, 4.8% of non-physicians chose "material well-being", which was completely excluded as a basis for starting a family by future physicians. The pure thoughts of our young people are admired and inspire confidence in the future. In marriage, they are not looking for benefits, they are not driven by the mercantile interests of enriching themselves at someone else's expense, but by the desire to build their own future with a loved one. To create a family, they do not see such obstacles as the lack of incomplete education, work, housing. They are full of determination and self-confidence.The majority of 68 people (80.9%) consider the age from 18 to 35 to be optimal for starting a family, 16 (19.1%) chose the answer "after reaching adulthood at any age". Doctors statistically significantly (p=0.047) showed great activity, 58.3% would like to start a family in their student years from 18 to 25 years, 50% of non-doctors see themselves as a family person after graduation from 26 to 35 years. In the question "Family and children", the answers were ambiguously distributed: "there should always be children in the family (relatives and/or foster ones)", 38 students (45.2%) answered; 34 (40.5%) think "how it will turn out", "a family can be without children" - 12 (14.3%). A statistically significant difference between the position of physicians and non-physicians was established (p=0.012). "There should always be children (relatives and/or foster ones) in the family," 66.7% of doctors and 16.7% of non-doctors believe. In this matter, the position of non-medical university students has an alarming tendency of a passive attitude towards the possibility of raising children. The majority would like to have one or two children – 70 students (83.3%), 10 (11.9%) strive to create a large family, 4 people (4.8%) admit the absence of children - these are students of the 2nd group. No statistically significant difference was found in the comparative analysis of indicators between the two groups (p=0.67).The majority - 82 people (97.6%) take the position "family is the basis of economic well-being".In matters of education, 50 students (59.5%) believe that they will raise children themselves, 34 (40.5%) - together with relatives. There is a tendency - students of the 2nd group (72.2%) want to be independent in matters of upbringing from relatives compared to the 1st group (50%). These results reflect that modern youth treats their relatives with respect and love, express trust in the process of upbringing, honor the traditions of their ancestors. At the same time, they are determined to build their own family, raise children. Students of groups 1 and 2 are almost completely in solidarity – "parents and children should rest together" (91.7% and 88.9%), and "if family members are ill, seek medical help" (83.3% and 94.4%).To the question "Family is first of all", doctors in 75% answered "procreation", non-doctors in 66.7% - "psychological comfort". At the same time, in both groups they chose: "procreation" - 42 people (50%), psychological comfort – 32 (38.1%), "self-realization" - 6 (7.1%), "economic well-being" - 4 (4.8%). DISCUSSION A comparative analysis of the results of the survey of groups 1 and 2 of students showed that the family is different in the representation of doctors and non-doctors. Medical university students would like to build their family based on love and the desire to be together (95.8%) in the student years from 18 to 25 years (58.3%). In their opinion, there must be children in the family (66.7%), one or two relatives or foster parents (87.5%), whom they would like to raise both independently (50%) and with the support of relatives (50%). For 75% of doctors, family is primarily procreation. Students of non-medical university believe that the necessary condition for starting a family along with love and the desire to be together (55.6%) is the completion of education (33.3%). Therefore, the optimal age for starting a family is 50% called the age from 26 to 35 years. The majority of students believe that there should not necessarily be children in the family, 61.1% chose "as it turns out". At the same time, the majority (72.2%) want to raise children on their own. 66.7% of students are convinced that the main thing in the family is psychological comfort. The great determination of doctors, both in matters of early family creation and in matters of the mandatory presence of children in the family, is obviously related to the specifics of their future profession. According to a survey of Russian citizens within the framework of the Healthy Family project, it was found that doctors have the least number of divorces [7]. From our experience, there are several areas of influence of the medical profession on the formation of family values among medical students. Firstly, medicine is a team work, a second family. Secondly, at the bedside of the patient, doctors become observers of the relationship between the patient and his relatives, acutely aware of the role of the family in a person's life. Thirdly, medical volunteers provide assistance to people in need. This contributes to the formation of a sense of humanism, compassion, and attitude towards strangers as family members. Fourth, there are medical dynasties in medicine (Hay - surgeons operating on the thyroid gland, Pokrovsky - surgeons operating on patients with cardiovascular pathology, and many others) who transfer skills and abilities from one generation to another. Fifth, the medical profession is as close as possible to the family from conception and birth to old age. The medical profession helps to understand the truth of family values to a greater extent. To popularize the youth family, universities have developed a set of measures to improve educational and extracurricular work: organize a "Student Family Day" at the university; hold meetings with large and foster families, families - carriers and keepers of family traditions who graduated from this university, as the pride of the university; create a festival movement among universities "Young Student Family", in which both young families and everyone who wants to know the history, traditions of the family and the genus could take part; to develop innovative social technologies for the spiritual and moral education of young people, preparation for family life and parenthood; to form public associations "Student Family" on the basis of universities; to organize creative evenings where students' children could take part; to develop a system of encouragement for special merits of students-parents and their children (vouchers to country camps, lump-sum payments). Conclusion Preservation of traditions, building a family taking into account the precepts of the ancestors is a unanimous conscious choice of the majority of students. Modern youth have a desire to have several children and a willingness to raise foster children. Family for most students is, first of all, procreation and psychological comfort. The profession of a doctor, to a greater extent than others, contributes to the formation of an attitude towards the family as the most expensive and important thing for every citizen. The developed list of measures to improve educational and extracurricular work with students will contribute to the popularization of the student family. The results of the work were presented and discussed at the Japanese-Russian Youth Forum "Youth of Russia and Japan - together into the future", December 3 - 5, 2021, section "Young Family". Proposals and prospects: development of the institute of the student family and measures to support it, both at the university level and at the level of authorities.
