Kostionova-Ovod I.A., Trunin D.A., Nesterov A.M., Postnikov M.A.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the collagen matrix in combination with a coronally moved flap in the treatment of localized gum recessions of non-inflammatory genesis. The study involved 73 patients with localized gum recessions, which eliminated this pathology using a collagen matrix or subepithelial graft. The largest percentage of defect coverage in the recession area was obtained in the group (after 1 year it amounted to 93%) where we used the improved method using a collagen membrane. In the comparison group, where a subepithelial connective tissue graft was used, the percentage of coverage was 88.8% after 1 year, which also corresponds to good indicators.

DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION OF EFFECTIVENESS OF SIMULATION TECHNIQUE FOR TRAINING MANUAL SKILLS IN MODULE "CARIESOLOGY AND DENTAL HARD TISSUE DISEASES"

Rostovtsev V.V.

Abstract

Mastering practical skills with the help of simulation training eliminates the risk to the life and health of the patient, provides an individual approach to the training process, the possibility of repeatedly working out the skill and bringing manipulation to automatism, as well as objective control of the quality of its performance. The aim of the study is to determine the effectiveness of the simulation method of training manual skills modulo "Cariesology and diseases of hard tooth tissues" in clinical conditions. Methods: the material of the 1st stage of the study was 104 people, students of the 3rd year, divided into a control group, where training was carried out using standard phantoms and a study group where a V generation dental simulator CDS 100 was used. The material of stage 2 was presented by 68 people who participated in stage 1 and were divided into groups similar to stage 1, for 2016 young specialists. Results: in the control group, the main causes of complications in the preparation of the carious cavity at both stage 1 and 2 are perforation of the pulp chamber, inadequacy of necrotomy and cavity geometry with ANOVA factor 1.15 for stage 1 of the study and 1.21 for stage 2, which indicates the statistical identity of predictors of this group. In the study group, there was no statistically significant difference in the quality of repaired cavities for the above predictors at stages 1 and 2 of the study, ANOVA factor 0.85, which indicates the statistical significance of such a predictor as the preliminary acquisition of motion automatism acquired when working with a simulator. Conclusion: the use of the CDS 100 computer interactive simulator provides a higher level of acquisition, and most importantly, the "survival" of practical skills, confirmed by subsequent clinical practice, compared to the classical form of training.

Chirkova N.V., Polushkina N.A., Leshcheva E.A., Bogatyreva Y.A., Bobeshko M.N.

Abstract

Bone resorption is one of the problems most difficult to correct in patients with concomitant diabetes mellitus. Given the complicated history of such patients, preventive measures are needed to preserve the mineralization and structure of bone tissue. To do this, it is advisable to include cholecalciferol (vitamin D3) in the treatment plan of patients. Osteotropic therapy can reduce bone loss in the upper and lower jaw, as well as stimulate reparative regeneration.

Kalaev V.N., Vasilyeva A.Y., Serikova O.V., Shumilovich B.R., Kalaeva E.A.

Abstract

The study of the incidence of buccal epithelium cells with nuclear abnormalities in women aged 50 - 60 years of age, patients with oral lichen planus. The changes of the number of micronuclei and indicators core cell destruction (karyolysis, karyorhexis, karyopyknosis, perinuclear vacuoles), as well as the total number of cells with nuclear aberrations in patients in the affected area have been detected. Indicators of nucleus degradation in cells outside of the affected area in patients differ from those in the control group. Using ROC-analysis cytogenetic criteria, which are the most informative in the diagnosis of "oral lichen planus" (karyolysis, karyorhexis, karyopyknosis, perinuclear vacuoles) has been revealed, their critical values, sensitivity and specificity when used as a diagnostic test have been calculated.

THE OPTIMIZATION OF STRESS-LIMITING SUPPORT APPROACH OF DENTAL INTERVENTIONS

Popova E.V., Sviridova L.L., Sarychev A.S., Alexeev D.V., Morozov A.N., Shalaev O.Y., Popov P.A.

Abstract

The article presents the data of the original research on the development and empirical verification of the developed approach to stress-limiting (in aspect of psychoemotional stress) support of dental interventions accompanied by trauma to the tissues of the dentition and oral cavity on a model example of surgical removal of a dystopic / impacted mandibular third molar. It was found that all topical patients who received treatment under the so-called of the «traditional approach», the level of situational anxiety associated with it had a high degree of severity. The scientific hypothesis of the study was that preliminary intravenous bolus administration of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory compounds (NAID) - immediately before local anesthesia and subsequent dental intervention - due to the pre-emptive effect on the nociceptive system - leads to a fundamental decrease of stressful emotional consequences in the early postoperative period. In fact, in the conditions of application of the developed program, just such results were obtained, which at the same time had a high level of statistical significance of differences in comparison with the «traditional approach», which was a confirmation of the scientific hypothesis put forward. The high availability of use, the statistical and clinical-pathogenetic significance of the results obtained make it possible to recommend the developed approach to stress-limiting support for further implementation in the practice of dental health care.

COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF STUDYING THE INFLUENCE OF IONIZED SILVER SOLUTION DURING IRRIGATION OF THE OPERATING FIELD WITH DIFFICULT EXTRACTION OF TEETH ON THE LOWER JAW IN DYNAMICS

Antonyan A.B., Kharitonov D.Y., Petrosyan A.E.

Abstract

In the daily practice of a dental surgeon, a doctor is often faced with the need to carry out surgical interventions for complex tooth extraction in the lower jaw. These surgeries are performed for various reasons, for example, for chronic periodontitis, periodontal diseases, teething diseases, orthodontic indications. All stages of surgical intervention for tooth extraction are accompanied by the risks of complications of various origins. In order to prevent all complications, there are many ways and techniques of both the extraction operation itself and drugs that reduce the risks of such. However, the relevance of the study of this issue does not lose its importance, since every day doctors also face the problems of complications of inflammatory genesis in the post-extraction period.

Azarova O.A., Pankova S.N., Lepekhina L.I., Lepekhina O.A.

Abstract

The problem of interpersonal relationships "doctor-patient" was studied in the dynamics of training of resident doctors at a medical university and in the process of treating patients at a dental appointment. The main areas of professional training for dentists are presented, where the psychological ability to communicate, critical thinking are posed with the need for high-quality manual skills. At the present stage, the emphasis is on the psychological support of patients' attitudes to the treatment process, with active participation in it. The specialized literature discusses the topic of the main professional-communicative doctor-patient relationships. European training programs are diverse and aimed at working with emotions, fear, fears, addictions, ethnic and age groups, unpleasant news related to the health status of patients. In the work programs of post-diploma medical education in Russia, insufficient attention is paid to the psychology of interpersonal relations. There was a need to improve Russian dental education in accordance with generally recognized international standards.

SEDIMENTATION OF COLLOIDAL SILVER ON THE CARBON NANOSTRUCTURED IMPLANTS (CNI)

Poprygina T.D., Ponomareva N.I., Gordeev S.K., Samoday V.G.

Abstract

A novel method of sedimentation of colloidal silver on the fiber surface of carbon nanostructured implants (CNI) has been developed. Stabilization of nanodispersion particles is reached by addition of peptizing agents of herbs infusions. As the systems contain only native reducing agents and disaggregants, toxic admixtures in developed materials are absent. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), local X-ray spectral microanalysis (LXRSMA) and optical microscopy (OM) methods are used to explore some characteristics of crystals formed on the surface of implants.

Zolotuhin V.O., Khoroshikh N.V., Madykin Y.Y., Mittova V.O., Alabovsky V.V.

Abstract

The vaginal microbiota is one of the most numerous in composition and dynamically changing biological systems of the female body. Despite the variety of modern diagnostic capabilities, the identification of the causative agent of vaginal infection is rather difficult; therefore, treatment is often prescribed symptomatically. The article is devoted to the creation of a test system for the dynamic control of the pH of vaginal discharge, which is a sanitary towel with an applied solution of bromothymol blue. The high sensitivity of the obtained test system to pH> 6, which is necessary for the timely diagnosis of changes in the pH of vaginal discharge, has been demonstrated. The obtained results showed the possibility of the long-term storage of the obtained test system while maintaining its chemical properties.
