OXIDATIVE STRESS IN THE PATHOGENESIS OF CEREBROVASCULAR DISEASES AND STROKE

Lutsky M.A.

Abstract

The article gives an analysis of the lipid and protein free-radical oxidation (FRO) process as well as the enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidant defense systems (ADS) activity accompanied by the oxidative stress formation in cerebrovascular diseases and stroke. The study involved 160 patients divided into 8 clinical groups with different clinical forms of cerebrovascular diseases and types of stroke, and 20 donors as the controls. All the patients had a set of blood tests that evaluated lipid and protein free-radical oxidation intensity values and enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidant defense activity indices. A total of 19 parameters and indices were automatically assessed and analyzed; their dynamics made it possible to identify the oxidative stress in one of the links of the complex pathogenesis of cerebrovascular diseases and stroke.

METABOLIC INDICES DYNAMICS VERIFYING THE CONTINUITY OF PATHOLOGIC PROCESS PROGRESSION IN MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS

Lutsky M.A., Lushnikova Y.P., Smelyanets M.A.

Abstract

The article gives an analysis of the metabolic dynamics verifying protein and lipid free-radical oxidation (FRO) intensification and a functional imbalance in the enzymatic and nonenzymatic segments of the antioxidant defense system (ADS), which identifies the presence of oxidative stress - one of the components of the complex pathogenesis of Multiple Sclerosis. The understanding of the complex pathogenesis of all clinical forms and phases of Multiple Sclerosis makes it possible to make a case for an effective pathogenetic therapy in the evidence-based practice, which is considered to be a basis for improvement of life quality of patients suffering from this serious disorder.

Abstract

In an article in the comparative aspect studied results of the evaluation of clinical- functional status of patients with bronchial asthma (BA) and metabolic syndrome (MS). During the examined 95 patients with a diagnosis - bronchial asthma, including 26 men (27.4%) and 69 women (72.6%). Age from 18 to 60 years (mean age - 49,13 ± 0,63 years). MS was diagnosed in 60 patients with bronchial asthma (63.2%).The results showed that the combination of bronchial asthma with components of the metabolic syndrome has a more severe course of the primary disease.

Abstract

There are a certain success regarding CHF patients is therapy but death rate is still high. That is why the matter of metabolic therapy practicability and their influence mechanisms for CHF patients with ischemic disease is still of current interest. The aim of the work is results of treatment of citoflavini in patients with Chronic Heart Failure. Implementation of citoflavini in accordance with standard CHF therapy for ischemic disease patients was accompanied by the improvement of clinical state, functional status. Citoflavini therapy didn’t lead to the development of a serious adverse reaction.

COMPARATIVE CHARACTERISTIC OF TOOTH HARD TISSUE MICROSTRUCTURE AND QUALITY OF COMPOSITE ADHESION VARIATION UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DIFFERENT KINDS OF ODONTIC PREPARATION

Shumilovich B.R., Starodubtsev V.G., Churkina O.A., Kobyakov D.V.

Abstract

There was studied the effect of tooth hard tissue microstructure and quality of composite adhesion variation under traditional, ultrasonic and air-abrasive preparation and used the different chemical kinds of adhesives for caries therapy. The rotary instruments cause traumatizing influence on tooth hard tissue, bringing on post-traumatic elevation in calcium dissolubility of enamel and considerable microstructure damage that in its return causes adhesion disturbance of filling material and recurrent caries. Air abrasive and ultrasonic preparation does not cause mineral exchange damage. The combination of these methods greatly increases caries treatment efficacy.

FEATURES OF EPIDEMIOLOGY, CLINICAL COURSE, DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT OF MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS AT THE PRESENT STAGE

Lutsky M.A., Lushnikova Y.P., Smelyanets M.A.

Abstract

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a medically, socially, and economically significant clinical disorder that primarily affects teenagers, adolescents, and young adults of the Russian Federation, which, resulting in rapid disability progression, prevents talented and promising young people from living an active and creative life. That is the reason why the study of features of this serious disease pathogenesis, clinical course, diagnosis, and treatment at the present stage is more relevant than ever. In recent decades, lots of clinicians have taken notice of negative tendencies in the clinical course of a number of diseases, including Multiple Sclerosis. These are the aspects subject to analysis in the given article.

Haritonov D.Y., Domashevskaya E.P., Azarova E.A., Goloschapov D.L.

Abstract

The main aim of current research work was to compare morphological and structural characteristics of the humans lower bone tissue and osteoplastic material "BIOPLAST-dent," «KLIPDENT», which was produced from cattle bones. The scanning electron microscopy (SAM) was used for analysis of samples' porosity, morphology and sizes of the agglomerates. During the research sample materials were studied with increasing 50 times. Some differences in the structure of the macropores of the studied materials were found with the help of SAM (increase x50). The pore size of the humans mandibular bone in the tested sample was more than 500 μm, the pore size of the material "BIOPLAST-dent" varied in the interval from 10 to 250 μm.

THE CHARACTERISTIC OF INDICATORS OF THE IMMUNE HOMEOSTASIS OF PATIENTS WITH EXTERNAL GENITAL ENDOMETRIOSIS

Enkova E.V., Strygin K.H.

Abstract

Considering an important role of immune violations in pathogenesis of external genital endometriosis (NGEM) dynamics of some indicators at women of reproductive age with NGEM to and in the course of complex treatment with use of various schemes is investigated. In comparative research of three groups of patients: in the 1st woman received in the postoperative period monotherapy by a preparation of Diyenogest; in the 2nd the complex therapy including Diyenogest and Afobazole in combination with a local magnetotherapy and course lecheny iodine-bromine bathtubs; in the 3rd patient refused adyyuvantny and complex therapy in the postoperative period - the initial level and dynamics of components of an immune homeostasis is investigated. It is established that application of complex therapy for patients with NGEM in the postoperative period allows to reach normalization of indicators of a fagotsitoz and to increase functional and metabolic activity of neutrophils that it is possible to treat as growth of kislorodzavisimy cytotoxicity of neutrophils that, in turn, will allow to prevent retsidivirovany NGEM.
