IMPROVEMENT OF ACTIVE TREATMENT FOR DYSOPIA / RETENTION OF THE LOWER THIRD MOLAR IN THE ASPECT OF ANTINOCICEPTIVE AND ANTI-INFLAMMATORY SUPPLEMENT

Abstract

Dystopia and retention of the third molar of the lower jaw retains the most important positions in the structure of modern dental pathology due to its inherent socially significant indicators of prevalence among the population, the frequency of exacerbations, the risk of complications and the need for active treatment. Despite the fact that the technology of dental operations for this condition is currently relatively perfect, this problem has a number of unresolved aspects. The key ones are postoperative pain syndrome and localized inflammation of paradental tissues induced by surgical trauma.

EFFICIENCY OF ROOT CANAL MACHINING AND EFFECT ON ROOT DENTIN MICROSTRUCTURE USING NICKEL-TITANIUM TOOLS

Abstract

The data of own studies on the impact of various types of endodontic tools on the microstructure of root dentin, in the near and long term after mechanical processing, are presented. The material for the study was 90 medically extracted molars with root canal curvature from 3 ° to 45 °, the machining procedures of the channels on which were performed by various tool file manufacturing systems: HyFlex EDM (group No. 1); ProTaper Next (Group # 2); Mtwo (band # 3). Clinical groups of patients are formed in a similar way, consistent with those used in the treatment of tool files. It has been found that mechanical processing of root canals shows a diagnostic study of the initial anatomical situation and at the level of root canal angulation of 30 ° or more, combined use of austenitic and martensitic instruments in the apical region is shown. In clinical situations, when diagnosing a high level of channel curvature (45 ° or more), non-standard anatomy, pronounced obliteration of root canals, it is recommended to use rotational files manufactured using EDM technology and martensitis in the working phase for mechanical processing of root dentin.

COMPARATIVE CLINICAL AND MORPHOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF THE EFFICIENCY OF THE USE OF DENTAL PASTES WITH DENSITIVE COMPONENTS

Abstract

Among the known lesions of non-carious teeth, the largest number of complaints from patients is related to the violation of the sensitive characteristics of the tooth. There is a constant increase in the number of general dental patients who report discomfort associated with increased tooth sensitivity. Based on the literature data, it can be stated that this disease is the subject of epidemiological surveillance. study of 183 patients, including 126 women, 57 men. The average age in the groups was 20-58 years. Patients asked for help about dental problems, the consequences of tests and gave voluntary informed consent. A series of studies used desensitizing toothpastes with a wide range of ingredients. The results were evaluated according to the dynamics of variations in the subjective sensations of patients and objective indicators, such as IRHZ, IIHZ, TER test, KOSRE test, the electrical conductivity of hard dental tissues, and the method of acid biopsy of enamel. Terms of control: before the start of treatment, 1, 6, 12 months after the end of the course. The use of toothpastes that affect hyperesthesia had a positive effect on the mineralization and permeability of the hard tissues of the tooth. The degree of effectiveness of the studied pastes varied, which indicates the effect on the resistance of the enamel not only of the desensitizers themselves, but also of the additional ingredients included in the composition.

Abstract

Complete secondary adentia occupies a leading position in the structure of modern dental pathology. The high frequency of occurrence and severe consequences require the development of methods for resolving the medical and social problems that arise in this regard. The optimal way to radically correct adentia, according to most authoritative experts, is dental implantation. The aim is to compare physical and mechanical properties, clinical efficiency of polymers for the basis of the temporary prosthesis - polymethyl methacrylate and polyether ketone. One hundred samples of each of the materials were examined, evaluating 14 indicators of physical and mechanical properties and 7 clinical characteristics. It is established that polyetheretherketone surpasses polymethylmethyl acrylate in physicomechanical parameters. Clinical effectiveness of prosthetics when used as a material of temporary prosthesis bases polyether ether ketone statistically significantly exceeds that when using polymethyl methacrylate.

ENDODONTIC TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH NON-POLYMERIC ORTHOPEDIC CONSTRUCTS USING ADDITIVE TECHNOLOGIES

Abstract

In studies of domestic and foreign specialists, the problem of dental rehabilitation of patients with partial and/or complete absence of teeth, as one of the significant factors determining the concept of "quality of life," is being paid more and more attention. To date, orthopedic dentists have an extensive arsenal of technologies that allow you to take into account changes in the dental system in general, and hard and soft tissues of the tooth in particular. In some cases, immediately after the performed orthopedic, there is a need for endodontic treatment of the supporting teeth, which is a serious problem, both in medical and economic aspects. The study material was data from 20 patients with previously installed permanent zirconia crowns in need of urgent endodontic care. By random selection, the children from them were treated using a specially designed endodontic template made by 3D printing, the second, control group of ten people was treated by direct endodontic access. Laboratory tests included an assessment of the microstructure of medically extracted teeth whose root canals were accessed either with or without a template. The fracture index of the occlusive tooth surface and the microstructure of the perforation edges were determined. It was established that when providing emergency endodontic care to patients with non-removable orthopedic structures made of zirconia, it is advisable to use additive technologies to create individual polymer dental templates that allow reliably reproducing the anatomical structure of the occlusive surface and tooth, and non-removable prosthesis.

DEVELOPMENT AND COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION OF REMOVABLE STRUCTURES DENTAL PROSTHESES USING POLYETHEREFIRKETONE BASED ON DENTAL IMPLANTS

Abstract

Orthopaedic treatment of patients with complete absence of teeth is one of the most difficult types of dental care. This is due to the loss of most anatomical-physiological landmarks necessary to create a functional and stable structure. Over time and the introduction of new dental technologies, the situation has not undergone significant changes. The work set a goal - to improve the quality of prosthetics for patients with complete absence of teeth by using removable dentures based on polyester ether ketone. The study was performed using material samples and examination results of patients with complete secondary adentation, with dental implants installed. It has been found that the use of polyether ether ketone instead of gold-containing alloys as an intermediate element between the abutment and the metal frame in the manufacture of removable telescopic prostheses of a full dental row based on dental implants significantly reduces the costs and final cost of treatment. Clinical effectiveness of using polyether ether ketone as a structural material for manufacturing secondary elements of telescopic crowns supported on dental implants exceeds that when using gold.

Abstract

Apple pomace powder is widely used in many industries and medicine. There are different ways to get them. Purpose - comparative analysis of traditional and patented methods of obtaining dry apple pomace for organoleptic, technological and sorption properties of the powder. Methods. The organoleptic properties of the powder are in accordance with GOST 8756.1-2017. Fruit, vegetable and mushroom processing products, technological properties according to OFS.1.4.2.0016.15 (compressibility and degree of flowability). The sorption capacity of dosage forms (powder, tablet) was determined by the trilonometric method. Results. It was found that the powders have the same flowability - 20.0 s / 100 g; angle of repose - 40.0º; bulk volume - 1.4 cm3 and can be pressed without granulation. Tablets made of powder 1 and powder 2 in relation to height to diameter (38.46%; 37.69%) and disintegration (10 min) meet the requirements of OST 64-072-89 and OFS.1.4.1.0009.15, but were fragile, which requires the addition of binders. The trilonometric method was used to determine the sorption capacity of powders from apple pomace and tablets obtained from them in relation to zinc cations (61.33 mg / g; 61.36 mg / g and 65.91 mg / g; 65.91 mg / g), nickel (51.43 mg / g; 51.43 mg / g and 55.33 mg / g; 55.33 mg / g), respectively. An increase in the sorption capacity of powder 2 by 4%, in contrast to powder 1, indicates a greater preservation of pectin substances.

Abstract

Currently, one of the most common causes of vaginal microbiota disorders is bacterial vaginosis, detected in 80-87% of women with pathological vaginal secretions. During the initial stages of the development of the disease, bacterial vaginosis is accompanied by very poor symptoms, which makes it difficult to diagnose it early. A change in the pH of vaginal secretions can serve as an early symptom of developing bacterial vaginosis, and the determination of the pH of vaginal secretions is regulated by modern Russian and foreign guidelines as a mandatory diagnostic study of women with pathological leucorrhoea. For the continuous determination of the pH of the vaginal discharge, we proposed a test system with an adsorption chip based on cotton cellulose modified by an indicator. The purpose of this study was the evaluation of the efficiency of the obtained test system for the rapid diagnosis of the presence of bacterial vaginosis in women.
