Inflammatory periodontal diseases are widespread, requiring a comprehensive approach in formulating a treatment plan. Often, the main etiological factor of these diseases is the development of dysbiotic processes in the oral cavity. There are few dosage forms designed to eliminate these problems on the market today. The aim is to develop a formulation of a gingival bandage with a probiotic or symbiotic in gel form with an extended spectrum of therapeutic effect, prolonged action, convenient in use, allowing to distribute the active substance evenly on periodontal tissues and oral mucosa to improve the quality of complex treatment of patients with inflammatory and dysbiotic phenomena of the oral cavity.
