The study involved 73 patients with localized gum recessions, which eliminated this pathology using a collagen matrix or subepithelial graft. The largest percentage of defect coverage in the recession area was obtained in the group (after 1 year it amounted to 93%) where we used the improved method using a collagen membrane.
