Anemia is the most common hematological pathology that accompanies many chronic diseases. Most often in clinical practice you can find a combination of anemia with acute and chronic infections, oncological and autoimmune diseases. The final data showed that 101 patients (46.1%) of the 219 patients studied had anemia. As a distinct disease, anemia was detected in only 7 cases (3.2%), and as background and / or comorbidities - 94 surveyed (42.9%), 49 of them were women (48.5%) and 52 men (51.5%). The average age of the subjects who had anemia was: for men 65.3 ± 10.5 years; for women 63.1 ± 8.4 years. Most often, this pathology occurred in old age (62.5% of patients). Mild anemia was observed in 93 patients (92%), moderate severity - in 7 (6.9%), and severe - in 1 study (1.1%).
