Especially with severe consequences, the disease occurs in patients with a combination of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with increased weight. The aim of the work was to study psychosomatic correlations of improving the effectiveness of therapeutic and preventive measures in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with obesity. The study included 97 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, occurring against the background of obesity. Clinical, psychopathological, experimental and psychological methods were used, which included analysis of General anamnetic data, peculiarities of the course of the disease, description of psychopathological symptoms and syndromes, their dynamics in the course of therapy for a month. Experimental psychological methods assumed the use of questionnaires. Mental disorders in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease exacerbate the severity of the patient's condition, thus affecting the course and outcome of the underlying disease.
