All patients were divided into 2 groups. 1 group consisted of 113 patients, endoscopic examination (cystoscopy) and treatment (transurethral resection of the prostate) which was carried out without fluorescent control. In group 2 included 87 patients who in the complex of examination and treatment used in photodynamic diagnostics. For morphological evaluation removed (fluorescent) areas of the mucous biopsy was performed using biopsy forceps and TUR biopsy. The results of studies conducted in normal lighting, was recognized as positive in identifying papillary tumors and sites of the mucosa with non-specific inflammation. When performing the PCS results was recognized as positive when the damaged area was fluorescinated, if the papilloma was in the midst of the inflamed mucosa and were present when effluorescence papilloma.</abstract></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Алексеев, Б.
