However, due to their anatomical features, atraumatic extraction may require specialized instruments. Separation of the circular periodontal ligament is one of the most critical steps in performing a tooth extraction. Existing dental instruments used for periodontal ligament separation share a common drawback, which is the thickness of their working part (0.3 mm or more). This study investigated the use of a specially designed periodontal blade for the atraumatic extraction of upper incisors in laboratory rats. The application of the developed periodontal blade enables effective separation of the periodontal ligament and subsequent atraumatic extraction of rat upper incisors for the purpose of further studying post-extraction alveolar bone healing in in vivo experiments.</p>tooth extraction, periodontal bladeудаления зубов, периодонтальное лезвие.1.1.
